Taylor Swift urges fans to participate in Super Tuesday voting

Taylor Swift took to Instagram on Tuesday to urge her massive following of over 282 million people to vote.

She specifically mentioned that March 5 was the Presidential primary in Tennessee and 16 other states and territories. Swift, who resides in Tennessee, shared this important message with her fans.

Taylor Swift has previously urged her fans to participate in voting, especially young people. She encouraged early voting in the 2020 election and endorsed President Joe Biden.

"The most important change we need is to elect a president who understands that people of color deserve to feel safe and represented. Women should have the right to decide what happens to their bodies, and the LGBTQIA+ community deserves recognition and inclusion," Swift expressed during her endorsement. "Everyone deserves a government that prioritizes global health concerns and values the lives of its citizens. To move towards a better future, we must choose leaders who are ready to confront these challenges and find solutions."

As of now, Swift has not made an endorsement for any presidential candidate in 2024.

She had avoided getting involved in politics until the 2018 midterm election, when Swift showed her support for Tennessee Democrats Phil Bredesen and Jim Cooper, who were running for Senate and House of Representatives.
