Taylor Swift may be releasing her new album "Reputation (Taylor's Version)" soon, starting with the lead single.

A preview of the song "Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor's Version)" was featured in the background of the trailer for Apple TV+'s The Dynasty: New England Patriots, according to a clip shared by People on Thursday, March 7.

In a video, former Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola excitedly declares that the “king is back” in reference to legendary quarterback Tom Brady. His interview is accompanied by the song “Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version)” playing in the background.

The docuseries, which will conclude on March 15, tells the story of the Patriots' 20-year journey to success. According to a summary, the episodes follow the team's strong teamwork that resulted in six Super Bowl victories, as well as the internal conflicts that led to a challenging period.

Swift, aged 34, first released "Look What You Made Me Do" in August 2017 as the lead single from her sixth studio album Reputation. The song and the album addressed the media scrutiny on Swift and how she handled criticism. One of the most memorable lines from the song is, "I’m sorry, the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now / Why? Oh, ’cause she’s dead!"

Following a controversial deal where her former record label, Big Machine, sold her entire music catalog to Scooter Braun for over $300 million, Swift decided to re-record her first six albums. She was unhappy with Braun, who is 42 years old, and Big Machine's founder Scott Borchetta, as she claimed she was not informed about the potential sale. Braun later sold the music catalog to a private equity firm.

After deciding to re-record and re-release her albums, Taylor Swift has already released "Fearless (Taylor's Version)" in 2021. She plans to do the same for her albums "Taylor Swift" and "Reputation" in the future.

Fans of Taylor Swift, known as Swifties, have been eagerly awaiting more information about Reputation (Taylor’s Version), especially since getting a taste of her reimagined version of “LWYMMD.” The snippet of the 2017 song, re-recorded by Taylor, was featured briefly in a trailer for Prime Video’s Wilderness in August 2023.
