Taylor Swift got her fans excited by dropping hints about her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, in a fun way.

On Monday, April 8, the 34-year-old singer posted on her Instagram Story, "Crowd goes wild at her fingertips / Half moonshine, full eclipse." It seems like she's really embracing the solar eclipse vibes!

The pop star revealed the lyrics on the same day when a total solar eclipse was visible in many parts of the country. This celestial event won't be visible in the United States again until August 2044, according to NASA.

In a video shared on her Instagram Story, the lyrics were displayed as if being typed on a typewriter, along with a link to pre-order her upcoming 11th studio album.

Swift revealed her upcoming album during her acceptance speech at the Grammy Awards in February, where she won Best Pop Vocal Album for the 13th time. She excitedly shared with the audience that her new album, titled The Tortured Poets Department, would be released on April 19. She even mentioned that she was going to share the cover art backstage right away.

Taylor Swift teamed up with Apple Music to release five exclusive playlists from her music collection that capture the different stages of heartbreak.

The playlists are titled: "I Love You, It’s Ruining My Life Songs," "You Don’t Get to Tell Me About Sad Songs," "Am I Allowed to Cry? Songs," "Old Habits Die Screaming Songs," and "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart Songs." Swift also added a voice note to each playlist to share her thoughts behind the song selection.

In February, Taylor Swift admitted that creating The Tortured Poets Department was something she felt compelled to do, describing it as a lifeline.

During a concert in Melbourne, Australia, she shared that working on this album reminded her of the importance of songwriting in her life. She expressed that she had never felt the need for songwriting more than she did while working on Tortured Poets.
