Celine Dion surprised a group of professional hockey players with an unforgettable pregame experience. The 55-year-old singer visited the Boston Bruins locker room on Thursday, March 21, before their game at TD Garden against the New York Rangers to announce the team's starting lineup.

Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery welcomed Dion, expressing that it was "an honor and a privilege."

The singer of "My Heart Will Go On" came into the locker room with her twin sons, Nelson and Eddy, and received a warm round of applause from the players.

Dion expressed her gratitude before sharing her announcement. She started off by teasing a teammate who was only half-dressed in the locker room, playfully saying, "Thanks for getting ready for me tonight."

Dion approached her job with dedication, bringing her unique diva flair to the event. As she introduced Bruins forward David Pastrnak, also known as "Pasta," Dion playfully remarked, "You make me hungry!"

Her most theatrical moment came when she announced Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman, also known as "Bulldog."

“Last but not least, in goal,” Dion said. “You better bite, you better mean it. Bulldog!”

Dion then joined in as the team mimicked dog noises as they clapped for their goaltender.

Dion and her boys, 13, were featured on the Jumbotron during a break in the action, with Dion being named “Fan of the Game.” She also had a solo moment on the arena’s big screen, playing air-guitar to Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer.”

This visit to the locker room was just one of the many stops on Dion and her sons’ hockey tour.

Dion met with the Edmonton Oilers on February 8 in Las Vegas where they played against the Golden Knights. She was accompanied by her twin sons and her 23-year-old son René-Charles for the special meeting.

In November 2023, Dion and her three boys also met up with Dion's hometown team, the Montreal Canadiens, while they were in Las Vegas. This outing marked Dion's first public appearance in almost four years since being diagnosed with stiff person syndrome in December 2022, a rare autoimmune and neurological disorder.

Dion also made a surprise appearance at February’s Grammy Awards, where she presented Album of the Year to Taylor Swift.
