After attending the Golden Globe Awards, Taylor Swift, 34, returned to work at Electric Lady Studios in New York City on January 9. She was seen wearing a stylish green sweater dress, a light brown wool coat by Stella McCartney, black Gucci boots, and carrying a tan YSL bag.
After creating a buzz at the Golden Globes, the singer made her way back to NYC. Swift made a solo appearance at the awards show, stunning in a stylish green sequin Gucci gown with spaghetti straps and an open back. Completing the look were dangling earrings from De Beers and elegantly styled waves.
Before missing out on the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award, Swift's relationship with Travis Kelce was the target of one of host Jo Koy's many underwhelming jokes.
"The contrast between the Golden Globes and the NFL is quite noticeable. You see, at the Golden Globes, we don't get bombarded with as many camera shots of Taylor Swift. I kid you not," he remarked, alluding to the NFL's strategic use of Swift's presence at multiple Kansas City Chiefs games, featuring her music in promotional clips and consistently capturing her on camera during broadcasts.

Swift awkwardly took a sip from her drink in response. Fans subsequently took to social media to slam Koy’s cringey humor.
Koy, 52, responded to the criticism the following day, explaining to Good Morning America on Monday, January 8, "It was a strange joke, I suppose. But it was more directed at the NFL … I was attempting to poke fun at the NFL's use of cutaways and how the Globes didn't need to do that. So it was more of a dig at the NFL. But it just didn't come across that way."
Taylor Swift was spotted at the 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards, as well as engaging in a widely shared conversation with Selena Gomez and Keleigh Teller during a commercial break. Some social media users speculated that the three of them were gossiping about Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner based on footage captured by cameras.

According to a source, Gomez was not trying to criticize Chalamet at 28. The insider clarified that Gomez did not speak with Kylie or Timothée at the Globes, and there was no drama between them. Gomez later explained her comments in an Instagram post, stating that she was actually talking about two of her friends hooking up and that it's not anyone's business.
