Taylor Swift had an incredible time at Questlove's star-studded Uno game night. Questlove, 52, took to Instagram on Thursday, July 13, to share photos of himself and his fellow guests at the gathering, expressing his love for communal activities like movie nights, food salons, jam sessions, and karaoke madness with friends. He proudly declared himself as the fun dude, Quest.
At the gathering, Swift, 33, joined notable personalities such as Jason Sudeikis, Saturday Night Live's Michael Che, comedian Mike Birbiglia, and backup singer Melanie Nyema from Swift's Eras Tour. They indulged in multiple rounds of popular card games, including variations like "Uno Dare Adults Only," "Uno House Rules," "Giant Uno," and "Uno Flip!" Sporting a white sundress, Swift smiled for the camera in one photo, holding her Uno cards close to her chest.
The presence of these high-profile individuals at the event immediately caught the attention of social media users, who swiftly began speculating about whether Swift had consumed marijuana based on her facial expressions in the photos.
"I would love to get elevated and engage in a spirited game of Uno with Taylor Swift," expressed one enthusiastic fan. Another follower chimed in, stating, "I greatly admire Taylor Swift indulging in the pleasures of marijuana while enjoying a game of uno."
The presence of Nikki Steward, a skilled chef renowned for crafting delightful cannabis-infused dishes, at the event only fueled speculation regarding Swift's potential consumption of marijuana.
Questlove, who is notably the drummer for Jimmy Fallon’s The Roots band, debunked the theories.
On Thursday, Questlove took to Twitter to express his thoughts on the recent allegations, stating, "I hold the title of being undefeated in the game of Uno. Cole's absence was not due to his dismissal, as some rumors suggest. These allegations of a 'weed party' are simply untrue."
Cathy Rong and Che, aged 40, organized a card tournament for their best friends in New York City during one of Questlove's renowned game nights.
"Proud of the remarkable event I hosted! It was truly epic," Rong shared on Instagram, along with additional pictures from the party. "I brought all my favorite people together to celebrate at @questlove's Game Night! Who knows who will be attending the next time?"
Fellow attendee Gabrielle Kniery exclaimed, "What an amazing night! You're the greatest of all time!"
Swift's fun-filled Uno game night took place a few days prior to her highly anticipated live concert as part of the Eras Tour in Denver. The two-night event, held at Empower Field, will commence on Friday, July 14, and represents her second weekend of performances following the release of her re-recorded album, Speak Now.
"It was an unforgettable Speak Now album release party at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City this weekend," she wrote on Instagram on Monday, July 10, reflecting on her Missouri concerts. "I had the incredible opportunity to premiere the 'I Can See You' music video on the big screen, and the crowd's reaction is etched in my memory forever. AND THEN, to everyone's surprise, @joeyking, @taylorlautner, and @helloimpresleycash joined me on stage (with a few flips thrown in?). I had the privilege of performing 'Long Live' with my amazing band, who are also the talents behind all my re-records. It was an indescribably special moment for me, singing those lyrics in front of a stadium filled with the incredible people who supported me on my musical journey. Love you all. Until we meet again, Denver!"
