Taylor Swift wrapped up her Eras Tour in Paris with a sweet mention of her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, a player for the Kansas City Chiefs. The 34-year-old pop star dazzled the audience at La Défense Arena on Sunday, May 12, in a stunning gold-and-red Roberto Cavalli outfit for her 1989 set. Among the crowd were Kelce, along with friends Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper. This Paris concert marked Swift's 87th performance for the Eras Tour, coincidentally the same number on Kelce's football jersey.

Swift's next stop is Sweden for a performance on Friday, May 17, followed by the Eras Tour across Europe until August. She will return to the United States in the fall and conclude the tour in Canada in December.

After starting the Eras Tour in the U.S. in March 2023, Swift took a two-month break after her show in Singapore. During this time off, she released her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in April. The album also dominated the top 14 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in its first week.

With sales in its first week totaling 2.61 million units, The Tortured Poets Department became a record-breaking hit for Swift.

"My mind is blown. I'm completely amazed by the love you've shown for this album," she shared on Instagram in April. "2.6 million, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Thank you for listening, streaming, and embracing Tortured Poets in your life. I feel incredibly grateful."

Swift expressed her excitement to resume the Eras Tour after receiving overwhelming support for her new album. "I was already pumped to get back on tour, but with all of this love from you guys? May 9th can't come soon enough!"

In February, Swift shared with her audience in Melbourne the significance behind creating the record, stating that it was a lifeline for her. She expressed how songwriting has always been a source of strength for her, emphasizing that she had never needed songwriting more than she did for Tortured Poets.

Despite having an extensive setlist for the Eras Tour that lasted three and a half hours, Swift hinted in April about possibly adding The Tortured Poets Department to the lineup. Fans speculated after observing various clues in a YouTube Shorts video of her tour rehearsals, such as a sign featuring the album's logo and new props for her backup dancers.
