Taylor Swift did not travel to Germany to watch Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs compete against the Miami Dolphins. However, she still showed her support for her partner from a distance.
The game took place on Sunday, November 5, at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany. It was one of the few NFL games held overseas this season. After the Chiefs' successful 21-14 win over the Dolphins, the 34-year-old tight end, Travis Kelce, achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the all-time leading receiver in his team's history, with an impressive 10,941 receiving yards. This record surpassed the previous record held by Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez, who had 10,940 yards.
Swift's keen fans noticed her discreetly acknowledging Kelce's achievement by liking an Instagram post regarding his remarkable victory. Following their bye week, the Chiefs will next compete against the Philadelphia Eagles, Kelce's team, on November 20 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
Swift, on her end, will resume her Eras Tour while Travis takes a break. She is set to perform in Buenos Aires, Argentina starting on November 9th and will then travel to Brazil to wrap up her final tour dates for the year. During the weekend, she enjoyed the company of her close friends Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Sophie Turner, and Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Patrick Mahomes, who didn't join them in Germany.
Swift has taken a two-month break from her record-breaking tour. During this time, she has not only released her Eras Tour concert film and 1989 (Taylor's Version), but also cherished moments with Travis. The athlete had expressed his interest publicly in July, mentioning that he couldn't give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number at her concert in Kansas City. Dating rumors gained momentum in September when Swift showed her support at one of his home games.

After Swift's first appearance, the Chiefs had been enjoying a series of victories. However, their winning streak was interrupted on October 29 when they lost to the Denver Broncos in an away game that Swift did not attend. In response, Swift made changes to her travel plans in order to support Travis after the defeat.
According to an exclusive source, Swift expressed deep regret for Travis and understood his seriousness towards losing. With the intention of showing her support, she decided to arrive in Kansas City a day earlier than originally planned so that she could be there for him, providing comfort and encouragement in any way possible.
According to sources, Swift had plans to visit Travis as they were intending to celebrate Halloween together by attending various parties with friends. Before the Germany game, Swift had been present in the stands for four matches. However, another source disclosed in October that she would not be attending all of Travis' games due to the increased attention.
According to an insider from Us, Taylor is conscious of not becoming a distraction for Travis. Aware of the attention she garners when attending his games, she aims to strike a balance between support and ensuring that she does not divert focus from the team.
