Taylor Swift has potentially uplifted the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, after his recent announcement about his divorce. On August 3, the 33-year-old Grammy winner officially declared that she is extending her highly successful The Eras Tour until November 2024. Notably, she will be performing at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada, for a total of six shows.

"The Eras Tour is set to arrive in Miami, New Orleans, Indy, and Toronto in 2024 with @gracieabrams, proving that it is not the end of an era for these cities. Don't miss out on the opportunity to attend these phenomenal shows - verified fan registration is now open. For more details, visit TaylorSwift.com." Earlier this summer, various political leaders, including Trudeau, eagerly implored Swift to include their countries in her tour, as it was discovered that Swifties greatly contributed to the growth of travel and tourism in different cities during her previous tour stops.

Trudeau tweeted in July, "Hi, it's me! Canada has amazing places that would love to welcome you. Let's make sure this summer isn't cruel, and we hope to see you soon."

The Taylor Swift concerts in Philadelphia earlier this month brought in the strongest month for hotel revenue since the pandemic started, thanks to an influx of guests. Chicago's tourism and conventions bureau also reported a similar impact.

Trudeau took to social media once again after his public appeal to share an update on his personal life. On Wednesday, August 2, he announced that he and his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, have ended their 18-year marriage.

"Hello everyone. Sophie and I wanted to let you know that after numerous heartfelt and challenging discussions, we have come to the decision to separate," Justin wrote. "Despite this, we remain a united family, bound by love and respect for one another, and we will continue to support and build upon what we have created together."

Justin and Sophie got married in 2005 and have three children together, namely Xavier, aged 15, Ella-Grace, aged 14, and Hadrien, aged 9. Following their separation, a representative from the Prime Minister's Office confirmed that the former couple has officially signed a legal separation agreement.

"They have taken all the necessary legal and ethical measures in regards to their decision to separate and will continue to do so in the future," stated Alison Murphy. She further mentioned their dedication to raising their children in a secure, affectionate, and cooperative environment. They assure to remain actively involved in their children's lives.

Meanwhile, Swift ended her six-year relationship with boyfriend Joe Alwyn while maintaining her performances across the United States.
