Stevie Nicks recently showed her support for Taylor Swift during a performance on stage.
During her performance at the BottleRock Napa Valley music festival in California on Saturday, May 25, the 76-year-old legendary singer wore a gold bracelet with the initials "TTPD." These initials represent Swift's latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. Fans quickly noticed the jewelry on Nicks' left wrist while she was on stage.

Nicks and Swift's friendship is well-known. The singer wrote a poem for Swift's TTPD album, which was included in both the CD and vinyl versions. The handwritten dedication read, "For T and me," by Nicks.
The poem reads, "He was in love with her, or at least she thought so. She was brokenhearted, and maybe he was too. Neither of them knew she was way too hot to handle, and he was way too high to try. He couldn't even see her."
Stevie Nicks described this relationship as "almost a tragedy." She added, "He really can't answer her. He's afraid of her, hiding from her, and he knows that he's hurting her."

Swift mentions Nicks in her song "Clara Bow" from TTPD. The lyrics refer to Nicks' iconic look in '75 with her hair and lips. The crowd's reaction to Nicks is compared to a wild response, like a full eclipse caused by a half moon. The lyrics express a feeling of possibly dying from excitement if one were to achieve a similar level of success as Nicks.

Nicks and Swift have been friends for years. They performed together at the Grammy Awards in 2010, singing Fleetwood Mac’s “Rhiannon” and Swift’s “You Belong With Me.”
In that same year, Nicks praised Swift in a TIME profile.
At the time, Nicks wrote about Taylor, "Taylor reminds me of myself in her determination and her childlike nature. It’s an innocence that’s so special and so rare." Nicks also praised Taylor's ability to switch between ballads that could be pop, rock, or country. Nicks reflected on her own past at 20, having just decided to not pursue a career as a dental assistant, while Taylor, at 20, had already won four Grammys.
