Taylor Swift unveils 'You're Losing Me (From The Vault)' as she triumphantly claims the title of Spotify's Top Global Artist 2023

In 2023, Taylor Swift was officially declared Spotify’s Global Top Artist and she marked the occasion with an exciting surprise for her fans. Taking to Instagram on November 29, the 33-year-old singer shared her disbelief and gratitude for the achievement. "Um ok this is unreal??" she wrote alongside new Spotify artwork. "I just wanted to say to anyone who listened to my music this year, anywhere in the world, thank you. Getting named Spotify’s Global Top Artist in 2023 is truly the best birthday/holiday gift you could’ve given me."

Swift has now made "You're Losing Me (From The Vault)" available for streaming on all platforms, stating, "A lot of you have been asking me to put [it] on streaming… so here you go! You can finally listen EVERYWHERE now." This track was originally released in May as a bonus on the special edition of her 2022 album, Midnights, and was only available for purchase on physical CD at her Eras Tour stops at MetLife Stadium. The song was released just a month after Swift and her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn, confirmed their split, leading fans to speculate that "You're Losing Me" may reference the end of their relationship.

This year, Swift has had a momentous year, from her groundbreaking Eras Tour to achieving official billionaire status. "I thought it would be a fun way to celebrate the incredible year we've had together by making The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to stream at home!" she shared on Instagram earlier this month. The concert movie will be available for on-demand rental starting Wednesday, December 13, which happens to be her 34th birthday.

The concert film premiered in AMC Theatres last month. The extended version will include "Wildest Dreams," "The Archer," and "Long Live," which were not in the theatrical release.

The Eras Tour began in March in Arizona and wrapped up the U.S. leg with six shows in Los Angeles in August. Swift's final concert of the year took place in São Paulo, Brazil, on Sunday, November 26.

As Swift entered the acoustic portion of her performance, she announced to the audience that all the surprise songs she had sung were available to be repeated when she begins touring again in 2024. "For a year, we've covered a lot of songs, so I'm just going to make all the songs fair game when we hit the road again," she said. "There are still some songs that I really want to perform, so I'm going to try to include all of them."

Previously, Swift pledged to only sing a surprise song once, unless she made a mistake or if it was on her Midnights album, which she called “the most accurate picture of my life to date.”
