Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Reportedly Not Considering Engagement in the Near Future

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are not considering getting engaged, despite rumors.
According to a source, the couple has no plans to tie the knot this summer. "Things between them are going great, but they haven't been together for a year and still have a lot to learn about each other," the source exclusively told We.
According to the insider, both 34-year-old Swift and Kelce are aware that many of their loved ones would be thrilled to see the football star propose, and some even believe it will happen soon. However, the couple has no plans to take that step in the near future. Recent reports suggested that Swift and Kelce are eager to get engaged this summer, coinciding with Kelce's NFL offseason and the European leg of Swift's Eras Tour. Another source had previously mentioned that Kelce intended to join Swift on tour as much as possible after the football season ends.
Swift and Kelce began their relationship in the summer of 2023, after the Kansas City Chiefs tight end mentioned her on his "New Heights" podcast. Although they did not meet at her Eras concert in July 2023, they started hanging out shortly after the podcast episode was released. Swift revealed to TIME in a December 2023 profile that they had a significant amount of time together that no one knew about, allowing them to get to know each other.
In September 2023, Swift and Kelce made their relationship public when she attended her first Chiefs football game. The Grammy winner told TIME that they were already a committed "couple" by then. Throughout the regular NFL season, Swift regularly attended Kelce's games. Their romance continued to flourish as they celebrated the winter holidays together, with Swift's family traveling to KC to watch Kelce's game on Christmas and the pair ringing in 2024 with his mom, Donna Kelce.
“It was a blast,” Travis shared with his brother, Jason Kelce, during the episode aired on January 3rd of their podcast. “We all had a great time celebrating New Year's together. It was amazing to have all our friends and family there. I think I had over 50, 55 people come in for this one. It was really special to have Mom in town to ring in the new year with her.”

Travis and Swift were also seen at a New Year's Eve bash, sharing a kiss at the stroke of midnight. Travis raved about the celebration, saying it was a great time with friends and family on the podcast.
