In a sneak peek of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test, Tara Reid, the 47-year-old actress, is being instructed by one of the show's operatives to tell Tom Sandoval, from Vanderpump Rules, to "move his ass."
Assigned the role of "duty recruit" by the staff, Reid now takes on the responsibility of dressing the rest of the group. However, this task becomes challenging as the cast has just finished a cold plunge challenge.
"Is there anything I can assist you with?" Reid inquires, noticing Sandoval shivering from the cold. "Do you need a towel? We should find a towel."
Sandoval is preparing inside the tent, while Reid receives criticism from operative Mark "Billy" Billingham outside. He compares her to a drunk person on the sinking Titanic, questioning why she is concerned about the closed bar.
Reid's experience on Special Forces faced difficulties at the beginning of the show's second season premiere on September 25. The Ghosts' former member received a reprimand for trying to bring in packs of cigarettes after completing their initial task. Even though she surrendered two packs, Reid was startled to discover a third pack in one of her pockets.
“Don’t f—k with me next time,” an operative told Reid, who claimed, “I didn’t know it was in there!”

During the premiere, Reid compared herself to a "broken bird," expressing her desire to develop thicker skin and not let people's negative comments affect her as much. She revealed that she often experiences bullying and wanted to strengthen herself as a person, believing that this opportunity could aid in that. She shared the hurtful remarks she receives on social media, where people comment on her appearance and criticize her.
Reid has gained recognition for her roles in popular movies such as the American Pie franchise and Josie and the Pussycats. However, she has also been open about her past struggles with addiction. In 2014, she confessed to feeling unhappy and conflicted with who she was as a person. This led her to seek help and voluntarily enter rehab in 2008, where she completed a 60-day program. Reflecting on her experience, Reid stated that going to rehab was the best decision she ever made and credited it for saving her life.

Sandoval, on the other hand, will also find himself under scrutiny on the show. He became a part of the show amidst backlash online for betraying Ariana Madix, his girlfriend of nine years, by getting involved with their Pump Rules co-star, Raquel Leviss. Sandoval's ability to make a positive impression on the show's staff was off to a rocky start during the season premiere's initial evaluation, as operatives called him a "disaster" and ridiculed his voice.
"These recent months have been the epitome of darkness in my entire existence. Sandoval has transformed into Scandoval," shared the Bravo star during a heartfelt confession. "I am present here seeking to receive the consequences I deserve."
