Tara Reid recently discussed her previous relationship with Tom Brady, describing it as casual and enjoyable. In an interview with Bustle published on Thursday, December 14, the 48-year-old actress explained, "We'd just see each other on and off. It was nothing serious, but it was fun. We'd go to beer places and have fun and dance."
She kept on: "He used to be laid-back. Now he's so uptight. He used to have a sense of humor. When I see him in interviews, he's so full of himself now."
Reid and the former New England Patriots quarterback, who is now 46, were briefly involved before the American Pie actress got engaged to Carson Daly in 2000. Their engagement ended in 2001. (Brady, on his end, ended his marriage to Gisele Bündchen in October 2022. The couple has a 14-year-old son named Benjamin and an 11-year-old daughter named Vivian. Brady also has a 16-year-old son named Jack with his ex, Bridget Moynahan.)
"She reflected on the past, recalling a time when they could go out and do as they pleased before everything changed so suddenly."
Reid has previously shared details about her relationship with Brady. In 2014, she admitted during an interview with the Australian radio show Kyle & Jackie O that she had kissed Brady and mentioned that he was quite attractive.
During a 2022 interview with NBC Sports Boston, Reid praised Brady as "a great guy" and "a really nice, sweet guy." Despite her relationships with Brady and Daly not working out, the star of Josie and the Pussycats got engaged to Michael Axtmann in January 2010, though they split that same year. Reid is currently dating Nathan Montpetit-Howar, whom she met five years ago at a dinner party.
"He's not just my partner in crime, he's my best friend," she told Bustle about Montpetit-Howar, the president of Phantom Acoustics, a sound technology company. "He's incredibly patient."
In response, Montpetit-Howar described his girlfriend as "all heart."
Reid expressed that she has never experienced such an overwhelming amount of love and support in her life, following her participation on season 2 of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. (Reid voluntarily withdrew from the Fox competition show on the second day of training.)

In October, Reid said she thinks “a lot of fans have been much nicer” to her since Special Forces.
“Sometimes I read what some of the quotes are from fans and it makes me cry because it’s been so kind and nice,” she told TMZ.
