Tara Reid addressed rumors about her weight following her appearance on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. In an interview with the Los Angeles Inquisitor, the 47-year-old actress strongly denied having anorexia or bulimia, stating that she has always been healthy and has a deep love for food. She also expressed her fear of vomiting, further dismissing any speculation about her eating habits.
Reid pleaded with her critics to cease their inquiries about her well-being, specifically addressing claims of anorexia or bulimia, asserting that they were incorrect. She implored them to desist and find another topic to focus on, as it was unjust. The public renewed their scrutiny of Reid's weight after her short appearance on the current season of Special Forces. Despite being eliminated in the second episode, Reid stated this month that she harbored no remorse for her participation in the competition series.

"I absolutely loved the show," she shared with TMZ. "The cast and everything about it brought me immense joy. It was a transformative experience, making me stronger, and overall, it was an incredible show to be a part of."
Reid expressed that her fans had shown increased kindness towards her since the show began. "Reading some of the heartwarming messages from fans often brings tears to my eyes," she revealed to TMZ. The messages varied from uplifting statements like, "You performed exceptionally well," "Stay strong and resilient," to encouraging words like, "You gave it your all, so don't ever give up on yourself."
In 2021, Reid responded to backlash about her body by sharing a black-and-white photo of herself. Some commenters on Instagram accused her of looking overly thin. In a follow-up post, she addressed the criticism by sharing a second color photo of herself in the same bikini. Reid explained that the appearance in the previous photo was due to the angle and emphasized that she has a high metabolism, proving that she is not too skinny.
Reid stated that due to her fast metabolism, gaining weight is an impossible feat for her. She added that her eating habits are regular, and she expressed gratitude and love for those who supported and defended her. Reid urged everyone to continue spreading love, emphasizing its significance in saving the world.
