In the Tenjiku arc of Tokyo Revengers, various thrilling challenges and developments are introduced for the protagonist, Hanagaki Takemichi. Continuing from where episode 3 left off, episode 4 of season 3, titled "Come Back to Life," reveals the aftermath of Yasuhiro Mucho's brutal attack on Takemichi. Upon regaining consciousness, Takemichi is confronted with a shocking scene: Koko and Inupi are being held captive and subjected to the same brutal fate.

Mucho informs Takemichi about the special status granted to the 5th Division of the Tokyo Manji gang, allowing them to engage in internal conflicts. He reminds Takemichi of the incident where he was nearly killed by Kiyomasa during a betting episode, and reveals that he was the one who informed Draken and Mikey about the gambling ring.
In summary, whenever there is a traitor within the gang, Yasuhiro Mucho and the 5th Division take action to handle the situation. This contradicts the previous assumption that Mucho himself was the traitor, leading Takemichi to question if he has been framed. Inupi then engages in a conversation with Mucho, during which he deduces that both Inupi and Kokonoi were members of the 8th Generation of Black Dragon, under the leadership of Kurokawa Izana.

Inupi served as a trusted ally of Izana. Considering Izana's role in the attack on the Tokyo Manji gang, it stands to reason that Inupi played a significant part in it as well. Since Takemichi enlisted Inupi into the 1st Division, it raises the possibility that they could be the individuals responsible for betraying Toman.

Both Kokonoi and Inupi assure Mucho that they did not betray Toman. Kokonoi mentions that the spirits of S-62 have started taking action. Inupi then discloses that Mucho used to be friends with Kurokawa Izana and the others involved in the Tenjiku attack. Mucho himself admits that he is one of the original members of Tenjiku and now that Izana is in power, the Tokyo Manji gang is his enemy.
Kokonoi Hajime and the incredibly skilled money-maker, Yasuhiro Mucho, reveal their plan to recruit Kokonoi Hajime into Tenjiku. However, there is an issue since Kokonoi only follows Inupi, who is part of Toman. Mucho presents Kokonoi with a choice: should he die alongside them, or should he join Tenjiku.
In Tokyo Revengers - Tenjiku Arc Episode 4, Hajime Kokonoi is targeted by Izana to bring together the three essential elements for creating the ultimate crime syndicate: Kokonoi's wealth, Kisaki's intelligence, and Mikey's charm. Joining Tenjiku would result in the release of Inupi and Takemichi by Mucho. However, Takemichi bravely rejects this proposition and defends Kokonoi, but pays the price when he is brutally attacked by Yasuhiro Mucho and loses consciousness.

Upon regaining consciousness, Takemichi finds himself in a battered state alongside Inupi. Inupi later discloses that Kokonoi agreed to align with Tenjiku in exchange for their freedom. Seeking medical attention, Inupi leads Takemichi to their hideout. Inupi reminisces about how he used to admire Sano Shinichiro, the former leader of the original Black Dragon. Inspired by Shinichiro's legacy, Inupi expresses his desire to revive the first generation of Black Dragon and urges Takemichi to assume leadership as the 11th generation.
Inupi became a member of Black Dragon's 8th Generation, which was led by Kurokawa Izana. Unfortunately, this generation saw Black Dragon's decline as they engaged in illegal activities such as extortion, theft, and drug trafficking. As a consequence, Inupi was sent to a juvenile detention center, and upon his release, he discovered that Black Dragon had been completely dismantled. Desperate to revive the gang, Inupi sought the help of Taiju Shiba, resulting in the formation of the 10th Generation of Black Dragon.

Upon hearing this, Takemichi expresses his connection with Inupi, confessing his own past failures in safeguarding those dear to him. With this admission, Takemichi accepts the responsibility of leading the 11th Generation of Black Dragon, all while retaining his position as captain of the 1st Division of Toman. As the episode draws to a close, Takemichi solemnly pledges to retrieve Kokonoi, and ultimately dismantle the malevolent duo of Kisaki Tetta and Kurokawa Izana.
