Taylor Swift’s circle of close friends has expanded over time, and Suki Waterhouse has undeniably earned her place among them. In an interview with Ssence on Thursday, August 3, Swift, 33, expressed her admiration for Waterhouse's unique blend of spontaneity, freedom, and remarkable wisdom. Swift also noted that Waterhouse is both the most adventurous person she knows and someone she can fully trust with any secret.
The Grammy winner disclosed that if you are feeling anxious about something insignificant, Waterhouse, 31, will simply gaze at you, cigarette in hand, and remark, "Darling, you realize none of this truly holds any significance." And she would be absolutely correct.
Swift continued to acclaim Waterhouse as a talented musician, expressing, "Suki has forever appeared as if she emerged from a time capsule. Her music exudes a genuine and utterly romantic essence, reflecting her approach to life."
Waterhouse, who unveiled her first album in May 2022, was overwhelmed by Swift's gracious words. "Just imagine me this morning, reading this article - I adore this woman so much," tweeted the Daisy Jones and the Six actress on Thursday, sharing a snippet of Swift's quotes.
For over five years, Swift and Waterhouse have maintained a close friendship. Their early public appearance together dates back to October 2016 when they were captured in color-coordinated outfits attending a private Kings of Leon concert in New York City.
An eyewitness revealed to us that Taylor had an incredible time rocking out with her friends at Swift’s concert squad, consisting of Waterhouse, Cara Delevingne, Lorde, Martha Hunt, and Lily Aldridge. They reported that Taylor was in a fantastic mood and everyone had a lot of fun.
Fast forward three years, and Swift and Waterhouse decided to bring their partners along for a double date at the San Vicente Bungalows in Hollywood. Swift was seen with her then-boyfriend Joe Alwyn, while Waterhouse had her partner Robert Pattinson by her side.
At the table sat the four of them. Rob and Taylor occupied seats opposite each other, an eyewitness revealed exclusively to Us. Throughout the evening, the foursome shared laughter and engaging conversations.
Although it was confirmed in April by Us that Swift and Alwyn, aged 32, ended their six-year relationship, Waterhouse and Pattinson, aged 37, have continued their strong bond since 2018.
After Swift's relationship with Alwyn came to an end, she sought support from her close friends and remained dedicated to her Eras Tour. Waterhouse, who had attended one of Swift's recent concerts, expressed admiration for the "Blank Space" singer in April. Speaking to E! News, Waterhouse said, "Taylor is a dear friend of mine. She's absolutely incredible. Whenever she likes something or stands behind someone, she truly means it. I'm a devoted fan of hers."
