After reviewing Kai Cenat's social media presence, Felix "xQc" Lengyel has accused the fellow Twitch personality of appropriating one of his stream concepts. As prominent members of the streaming community, it's not uncommon for these content creators to draw inspiration from one another as they cultivate their respective audiences. Kai Cenat has experienced a surge in viewership and subscriptions on Twitch in recent years, largely thanks to a series of successful subathons. Meanwhile, xQc has transitioned from a professional esports player to a daily broadcaster, sharing many of his ideas with his audience along the way - including some that have yet to be executed. However, based on comments made during a recent Twitch livestream, it appears that Cenat may have preempted one of xQc's planned endeavors.
During a recent Twitch broadcast, xQc voiced his suspicions about a camping trip that Kai Cenat took with YouTube content creator IShowSpeed. xQc noted that Cenat and IShowSpeed's Rumble exclusive show is what tipped him off and suggested that the duo was "paid the millions" for the Rumble content. xQc also claimed that he called Cenat while livestreaming on Twitch on the same day that he expressed a subathon idea revolving around camping, which he sees as a "one-to-one" comparison.
In response to xQc's accusations, Cenat confirmed that he and IShowSpeed came up with the idea for the Rumble show themselves and didn't steal it from xQc. Cenat also stated that he had planned to invite xQc on the camping trip, but it didn't work out due to a scheduling conflict or other obligations that xQc may have had. xQc expressed that the first episode of the Rumble show was his idea while still streaming on Twitch from the house he plans to move from.
It is possible that xQc and Kai Cenat may not have any animosity towards each other, especially since they are friends off-camera. Despite accusing Cenat of theft, xQc was seen smiling at the same time. Cenat even mentioned that xQc was almost invited to the Rumble camping trip, which could mean that the two streamers may collaborate in the future. With xQc being a top creator on Twitch, it's possible that he could make an appearance on an upcoming episode of the Rumble show.
