Twitch star Felix "xQc" Lengyel has expressed his frustration with the police after a string of incidents where they kept showing up at his home. The 27-year-old had an eventful few weeks, including sharing his co-ownership of Grand Theft Auto Online RP server NoPixel and criticizing its state. After being released from the Dallas Fuel in 2018, xQc shifted his focus to streaming and eventually moved back to his home country of Canada due to excessive police raids. During his time in the US, he was a frequent victim of swatting, a form of criminal harassment where false threats are made to deceive the police into raiding a victim's home.
Despite xQc's attempts to distance himself from the drama, police visits to his home have continued in the last few days. On June 7, the popular streamer posted a video tour of one of his houses on Twitter, in which a patrol car with flashing lights and an officer can be seen at his doorstep. Just before the video ends, xQc can be heard thanking the officer for their assistance. However, the tweet containing the video offers little explanation beyond a sarcastic comment about the joys of owning a nice house and living in peace.
During a subsequent live stream, xQc expressed his frustration with yet another police visit to his house, stating that he no longer cares about the situation. He maintained that he has not engaged in any illegal activities that would justify the constant police attention. Some of his followers have speculated that the repeated incidents may be linked to xQc's divorce drama with Adept, whose real name is Samantha Lopez. Despite initially denying any marriage to Adept, court documents revealed that the pair were scheduled for a divorce trial in May 2023. In a later stream, Adept confirmed that she and xQc had been married for three years, and that she had been trying to speak truthfully about their relationship for some time.
There is no definitive evidence linking the recent police incidents to the ongoing divorce trial between Lopez and Lengyel. However, it is possible that Lengyel's increasing frustration may be fueled by his recent experience of being unable to receive emergency assistance during a home break-in, as previously reported by xQc.
