When asked about it on the Steve Varley Show, the Argyle star responded, "It’s nice to hear that there’s some sort of concern or something, you know what I mean? But I never got a phone call, so I think that’s it."
The news has caused outrage among some fans, with one person writing, "Stranger Things better call him. He's such a lovable character." Another commented, "Wow, it's truly shocking if he's not in the final season of Stranger Things."

As a Gen Z fan of Stranger Things, I am disappointed to hear that Eduardo Franco, who plays Argyle, will not be returning for Season 5. Argyle brought a unique and comedic element to the show, and his chemistry with the other characters was undeniable. While I understand that the final season will likely focus on the main characters and the events in Hawkins, it feels like a missed opportunity to not include Argyle in some way.
