Sofia Vergara recently reunited with her Modern Family costars, but one cast member was noticeably absent from the get-together. The 51-year-old actress shared a glimpse of the reunion on Instagram, captioning it with "First Modern Family reunion!!!!️️️."

In her slideshow, Vergara included three photos. One of them featured her standing alongside former costars Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Julie Bowen, Ed O’Neill, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Nolan Gould, Rico Rodriguez, and others. In this group picture, Winter, aged 25, held a framed photo of Ty Burrell, who played her father on the ABC sitcom.

Furthermore, Vergara shared a photo of herself and O’Neill, aged 77, sitting together on the couch. Throughout Modern Family's 11 seasons, the two portrayed the married couple Gloria and Jay Pritchett. In the caption, she expressed her love for Ed O’Neill with heart emojis, using the hashtag #modernfamily.

Despite Burrell's nonattendance, the cast expressed their affection for him. Vergara captioned an Instagram video, featuring Ferguson, Hyland, and other former costars, with "We miss u Ty!!️️️," as they spoke to Burrell's photo.

Running from 2009 to 2020, Modern Family chronicled the lives of multiple generations within the Pritchett family, from the head of the household, Jay, to his grandchildren Haley, Alex, and Luke. Highly popular and critically acclaimed, the series won 22 Emmy Awards before concluding.

Vergara has been relying on her friends and former costars for support following her split from husband Joe Manganiello. The couple was married for seven years before announcing their separation in July. Manganiello, 46, filed for divorce later that month.

Bowen, 53, recently provided an exclusive update on how Vergara has been coping after the breakup. "She has received an abundance of love and support. She has always had strong relationships with her family and friends," she shared with Us on Monday, November 13. "So when challenges arise, everyone rallies around her and shows her even more love. But I have to be honest, she is doing incredibly well. She is thriving."

Sofia Vergara Shares Glimpse of 'Modern Family' Reunion Sans Ty Burrell

Sofia Vergara recently reunited with her Modern Family costars three years after the show ended, although one former cast member was noticeably absent. The actress, who is 51 years old, shared a sneak peek of the gathering on Instagram on November 16th, captioning it as "First Modern Family reunion!!!!️️️."

Her slideshow featured three photos, one of which showed Vergara alongside former costars Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Julie Bowen, Ed O'Neill, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Nolan Gould, Rico Rodriguez, and others. Modern Family aired for over a decade, starting in 2009 and concluding in 2020. The show depicted the lives of different generations within the Pritchett family, from the head of the family, Jay, to his grandchildren, Haley, Alex, and Luke. The series gained immense popularity and received critical acclaim, earning a total of 22 Emmy Awards throughout its run.
