Snoop Dogg has conquered music, culinary delights and more — and now, he is adding fashion designer to the list thanks to footwear brand Skechers.
Snoop Dogg, 57, expressed his excitement about collaborating with the exceptional team at Skechers to create a diverse collection that appeals to people from all walks of life. In a press release, he stated, "We took my ideas and style and turned them into this amazing collection." Snoop Dogg also emphasized the comfort that Skechers shoes provide, saying, "No matter where you go, you can step up your shoe game and showcase your style and swag." These shoes can be worn for any occasion, whether it's a formal event like a wedding or a casual outing on the court. The first three capsules of this unisex collection were released on August 1, showcasing Snoop Dogg's distinctive design aesthetic with vibrant colors and modern elements.
"We had already initiated our collaboration with Snoop on the co-branded collection before his remarkable Skechers x Snoop Dogg Super Bowl commercial, which received numerous accolades earlier this year," stated Michael Greenberg, the President of Skechers. "Snoop's exceptional sense of fashion and relaxed attitude perfectly merged with the unparalleled comfort of Skechers, creating a genuine collaboration and partnership."
Upon entering the Skechers showroom, Snoop Dogg personally handpicked the items for the collection. He chose silhouettes and designs that effortlessly suited his style, and further enhanced them by adding distinctive materials, colors, and prints to "Snoopify" each piece.
Introducing Skechers
One of his top picks is the revamped Skechers Stamina, a modern reinterpretation of the iconic sneaker that first emerged in 2004. This retro-inspired shoe features a stylish blend of suede and mesh in its upper, crafted from a combination of materials and enhanced with vibrant trims. Even Snoop Dogg himself chose the eye-catching colors to pay homage to his platinum-selling album, Rhythm and Gangsta: The Masterpiece, released in 2004.
Snoop Dogg has also designed a pair of slip-ins called "Snoop One OG" as his ultimate everyday and everywhere shoe. These leather bungee sneakers by Skechers include the Exclusive Heel Pillow for secure foot support, a smoke-printed graphic on the exterior, and the "Snoop S" logo on the toe.

There is a wide selection of sneakers currently available, but more will be released in the future. Later this month, two limited-edition drops will be introduced, one of which features Snoop Dogg's NFT character Dr. Bombay.
