Scott Disick's declining health has caused worry among his close ones, including Khloé Kardashian. In a recent episode of The Kardashians, available for streaming since October 12th, Scott, aged 40, opened up about the consequences of his car accident in 2022.
Khloé visited him at his home where he shared, "My weight gain here is due to my back. Ever since the car accident, my back pain has progressively worsened." Khloé advised Scott to schedule an appointment with a physical therapist to address his back problems before they necessitated surgery.
"I believe Scott could use some encouragement as I've never seen him in such poor health before. His back issues have greatly limited his mobility, which is undoubtedly affecting his overall well-being," she shared during a personal interview. "It's important for Scott to understand that these challenges can be overcome. It's crucial not to allow them to bring you down."
In August 2022, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Bureau confirmed that Scott was driving when the single-vehicle incident took place in Calabasas.
According to a press release from the LASD, the main factor behind the traffic collision was determined to be speed, with no involvement of alcohol. Mr. Disick sustained minor injuries that were not life-threatening and chose not to receive medical treatment. Following his request, his family members picked him up from the scene, and his vehicle was towed away. The incident was initially brought up by Scott during the third season of The Kardashians.
Scott, who has three children with his ex Kourtney Kardashian, shared a story with Kris Jenner about how he was on his way to pick up Mason for a movie. While driving alone, he made a right turn and encountered a neighborhood with raised curbs. As a result, his car hit a pillar, causing significant damage to his Lamborghini SUV. Scott described the accident as the car somersaulting forward before landing, leaving him trapped inside. He attempted to escape through the sunroof, but was unsuccessful.

Scott expressed his gratitude towards his daughter, Penelope, for her support and assistance following the accident. "I'm glad I had P by my side. She really took care of me. She diligently cleaned off the blood from my body when she was with me," he acknowledged, with Penelope seated beside him. "She even brought a wet rag and meticulously cleaned my face. Her help was truly invaluable."
In Thursday's episode, Scott allowed the cameras to accompany him to his initial medical consultation regarding his back problems. The healthcare provider warned Scott that he was nearing the point of requiring surgery if he failed to take proactive measures.
"I've been unable to engage in physical activities and I've gained weight. I am willing to do whatever it takes to avoid undergoing invasive back surgery," Scott expressed. "However, I used to enjoy sex, but now I am immobilized... I feel terrible. I need to get back into shape, so I can resume my intimate life. No movement means no pleasure for me!"
Scott expressed his gratitude to Khloé for her support and stated, "I believe that engaging in therapy is a more preferable option than subjecting myself to potential mistreatment from Khloé. Therefore, I am pleased to make this commitment. Perhaps, on my 40th birthday, we could celebrate together... What do you think?" Khloé dismissed Scott's advances, and he concluded by saying, "I'm not sure, but maybe I will feel more content on my 40th birthday."
