Khloé Kardashian has received an overwhelming amount of whale photos, videos, and memes after confessing her fear of whales in the season 4 premiere of The Kardashians. Expressing discomfort, she requested for her followers to refrain from sending her any more whale-related content. Khloé, 39, made this request on Friday, September 29, via X (formerly known as Twitter).

"I acknowledge that my phobia is highly irrational, but I have no control over it," she stated. "It's so severe that I can't even bring myself to watch whale videos that my sisters send me because they find it amusing lol."

In the most recent episode of The Kardashians, which debuted on Hulu on Thursday, September 28th, Khloé disclosed her fear while the family was residing at a beach house in Mexico during the whale season.

"Why is it whale season? Seriously, what are they even doing? Mating? That's disgusting," Khloé remarked to Kim Kardashian as she peered through binoculars from the safety of their beach house, gazing out at the vast ocean. "And why do they insist on coming so close to the shore? It's way too unnerving for me."

As a whale breached the surface, Khloé let out a scream of terror. "Oh my God, I saw it! Ah!" she exclaimed, while Kim, 42, eagerly called for their sister Kendall Jenner. "I really don't want to see it. That was genuinely horrifying. It just emerged from the water, and then leaped again."

After years of dealing with this phobia, I reluctantly acknowledge that my fear of whales is completely irrational. We don't choose our phobias, and unfortunately, mine extends to the ocean as well. The mere sight of a whale terrifies me to no end. Despite feeling somewhat foolish, I found solace in discovering that there are others on social media who share the same anxieties. In fact, I asked a fan if they could relate and expressed my relief in finding companionship in this fear, even though it embarrasses me.

In a separate post, she exclaimed, "The size of these creatures is staggering, and there is a constant discovery of new species. More than 80% of our oceans remain unexplored. It's absolutely mind-blowing! We have no idea what lies beneath."

Her family remains bewildered and amused. "My daughter constantly teases me. She purposely draws me pictures of whales just to mess with me. She finds it hilarious," Khloé, who has daughter True, 5, and son Tatum, 13 months, with her ex Tristan Thompson, joked. "Everyone has their moments of being a jerk. It makes me feel uneasy."
