Suzanne Somers peacefully passed away at her home in the early morning hours of October 15th after a courageous 23-year battle with aggressive breast cancer. Her loving husband Alan, son Bruce, and immediate family were by her side during this time.

Somers' 77th birthday would have fallen on Monday, October 16. The family intends to commemorate her remarkable life. They extend their gratitude to her countless fans and followers who cherished her deeply. This week, a private family burial will be held, followed by a memorial service scheduled for the next month.

Somers' husband, Alan Hamel, revealed to Page Six earlier this year that her cancer had resurfaced. (She had previously battled skin cancer in her 30s and then breast cancer from 2000 onwards.)
