Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador is not happy to hear that her ex-boyfriend John Janssen is reportedly dating RHOC alum Alexis Bellino. "I've been hurt," Beador, 59, told E! News on Wednesday, December 6. "I've been hurt a lot in the last couple of weeks because, No. 1, John said that he didn't want to be in the public eye, and he's thrust himself more into the public eye at this point. So, I'm quite confused about that."
She continued, "I don't know how to handle this. How many Orange County Housewives have there been? Is that the pool you're dating from?"
Bellino, 46, was on RHOC from seasons 5 through 8, leaving the franchise a year before Beador joined. Alexis' ex-husband, Jim Bellino, later sued Beador and co-star Tamra Judge for defamation, seeking a million dollars in damages. Jim alleged that they made inappropriate comments about his business and divorce during a 2018 appearance on Heather McDonald's "Juicy Scoop" podcast. Beador and Judge, 56, maintained that the comments were not intended to cause harm. Beador was removed from the lawsuit in 2019, while Judge and Jim reached an undisclosed settlement in 2021.
Beador began dating Janssen, 59, in 2019 but they ended their relationship earlier this year. "No, we're not reconciling," Beador told We exclusively in June, clarifying that she and her ex-partner were still on good terms. "Neither of us are seeing anyone else."
Five months later, Janssen was seen with Alexis at a group dinner at The Quiet Woman in Corona Del Mar, California. After rumors of dating, Alexis' representative clarified that the two simply bumped into each other and sparked a friendship. "Alexis and John have so many similarities that it's no surprise they've quickly become friends," Alexis' publicist told Page Six last month.
Beador said on Wednesday that she’s hurt Janssen would even strike up a friendship with Alexis given the 2018 legal drama.

According to Beador, "John knows about the lawsuit I had with Jim Bellino, and Alexis was also part of it, although she denies any involvement. It was a major blow for me both financially and emotionally for years, even though I emerged victorious. The legal battle took a toll on me financially, especially as a single mom. John is well aware of all of this."
Shannon shares three daughters — Sophie, 22, and twins Stella and Adeline, both 19 — with ex-husband David Beador.
