Shanna Moakler is reflecting on her split with ex-husband Travis Barker, alleging cheating, trolling and more.
"During the initial three to four weeks in Atlanta, I was by his side, and then we traveled by tour bus back to Los Angeles, to the burn center," Moakler, 48, revealed in a preview for Bunnie XO's "Dumb Blonde" podcast on TikTok. "That's where everything went wrong." Moakler appears to be reminiscing about her reunion with Barker while he was recuperating from a nearly fatal plane crash in 2008. The text on the video states, "Shanna gets emotional discussing the moment that shattered her heart with Travis."
Barker, at 48 years old, wed Moakler in 2004. The couple co-starred in a two-season MTV reality show called Meet the Barkers, along with their children Landon and Alabama, as well as Atiana, Moakler's daughter from a previous relationship. After filing for divorce in 2006, the couple reconciled on multiple occasions, even after their official split in 2008.
“I’ve never shared this with anyone before, so it’s kind of crazy,” Moakler revealed on the "Dumb Blonde" podcast with Bunnie XO. “I got his computer. And we were doing it so the kids could FaceTime him, because mind you, the kids hadn’t seen their dad now for almost a month and a half.”
While setting up his computer and observing Barker FaceTiming with the kids during a blood transfusion, Moakler discovered emails from multiple women that ultimately led to their breakup.
In September 2008, Barker survived a fatal plane crash that claimed the lives of four out of six people on board and left him with third-degree burns covering 65 percent of his body. During his recovery, he reconnected with his ex-wife, but their relationship ended shortly thereafter.
Moakler noted that the other women in Barker's life didn't show much concern until he made public comments on TMZ. "You write a comment and then [TMZ] will email you a link, and you have to click on the link to approve the comment. And I saw all of these comments in his email that he was posting about me on TMZ about what a s–tty mother I was, what a terrible person I was," she added in the teaser.
"I was shocked to find out that he was responsible for some of those comments," she sobbed. "I left the hospital, went home, and cried in my mother's arms for hours."
The complete interview with Moakler is scheduled to be broadcast on "Dumb Blonde" on Wednesday, January 10th.
Moakler has previously accused Barker of being unfaithful, claiming to We in May 2021 that he had cheated on her with Kim Kardashian in the early 2000s.
"I ended my marriage because I caught my ex having an affair," Moakler alleged. "I was sent their text conversations and I also have close friends who were witness to the infidelity. We were trying to work on our marriage and move past the affair, but he continued to see her. Eventually, I received the text messages and other third parties confirmed the affair. It's something I was well aware of."
