In a recent Haute Living cover story, Twain, 58, praised Swift, 34, for her dedication and commitment to her art and work. She mentioned that Swift lives a busy life, but she is fully devoted to herself and her craft. Twain also acknowledged that while some may describe Swift as ambitious, it is not just about ambition for her.

Twain, known as the Queen of Country Pop, has been a major inspiration for Swift. The Canadian singer admires Swift's dedication to her career.

According to Twain, Swift is a very hard worker with big goals. Twain also believes that success is not just about ambition, but about having a strong passion and fully committing to it.

In 2008, Taylor Swift shared on her blog about how meeting Shania Twain was a major highlight in her career.

The 14-time Grammy winner expressed her excitement when Shania Twain introduced herself to her. She admired Shania as the reason she pursued a music career. Taylor described Shania as the most impressive, independent, confident, and successful female artist in country music history. Shania approached Taylor to compliment her work and express that she was doing a great job. Taylor couldn't help but be in awe of Shania's beauty and felt starstruck throughout the encounter.

Swift also expressed her admiration for her idol, Shania Twain, at the CMA Music Festival in 2010.

"I remember when I was a little kid, I used to see Shania Twain and I just remember thinking if I ever got a chance, by some crazy streak of luck to be on a stage, I’d want to do as much as I could to say thank you," she shared during the event.

When I said it, I meant it with attitude and self-assurance. While I appreciate being called a trailblazer, I never set out to be one. I was simply being me, and I believe that has been beneficial for me."

Shania Twain and Taylor Swift have grown so close over the years that they consider each other as family.

Twain shared on The Drew Barrymore Show in October 2023 that she feels like she's almost like a aunt to Taylor Swift. They connect in many ways, and Twain admires and cares for her. Twain was also delighted to see Swift wearing a Shania Twain T-shirt in New York City.
