“They initially kept things quiet, but Benny has proven himself completely,” the source explains. “The start of the new year felt like the perfect opportunity to essentially proclaim their love to the world, and that's exactly what Selena is doing.”
Gomez shocked her followers with the revelation in December 2023 that she is romantically involved with Blanco. "He holds a special place in my heart," she expressed in an Instagram comment. "He [has] brought me immense joy. Period. ... He surpasses any previous relationships. True story."

Several days later, the star of Only Murders in the Building posted a cute photo on Instagram showing her and Blanco being affectionate after attending the Golden Globes. The caption read "I won," and the post showed her sitting on the music producer's lap as they shared a kiss.
