Selena Gomez is fully committed to her whirlwind relationship with Benny Blanco.
"She's completely devoted and thrilled to publicly declare her love," a source exclusively reveals in the latest issue of We about the couple's surprising bond.
Gomez, 31, and Blanco, 35, have moved past the initial phase of their relationship, with an insider saying, “Selena says he treats her like a princess and she’s completely in love.”
Earlier this month, Gomez shocked her fans by revealing that she is in a relationship with Blanco. “He is my everything,” she wrote in an Instagram comment. “He has been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Period. … He’s better than anyone I’ve been with. That’s the truth.”
The actress from Only Murders in the Building gave a hint about her relationship by posting an Instagram selfie of her cozying up to a man later identified as Blanco. In another photo, Gomez displayed a silver “B” ring and later revealed that she has been seeing Blanco for six months. Sources say that Blanco's low-key nature has allowed the couple to keep their romance private for several months.

Gomez and Blanco worked together on hit songs like "Same Old Love" and "I Can't Get Enough" before making their relationship public. Their most recent collaboration was on Gomez's track "Single Soon," which was released in August.
Since rising to stardom following her Disney Channel days, Gomez's dating life has frequently made headlines. Her most significant relationship was with Justin Bieber, with whom she had an on-again, off-again relationship until their final split in 2018. Following their breakup, Justin, 29, got back together with Hailey Bieber (formerly Baldwin), and they got married the same year.
Gomez moved on to relationships with DJ Zedd and The Weeknd, but they didn't last.
"I've found that most of my relationship experiences have been plagued," she told Vogue Australia in June 2021. "I was too young to be exposed to certain things when I was in relationships. I had to figure out what that meant for me, because I always felt inferior in past relationships and never truly felt equal."
Earlier this year, Us broke the news that Gomez was dating Drew Taggart following his split from Eve Jobs. Fans noticed at the time that Jobs, 25, wiped her ex-boyfriend from her social media feed amid the news about his new flame. As Gomez and Taggart’s connection fizzled out, the singer hasn’t been shy about poking fun at her dating life on social media.
