Best friends Selena Gomez and Francia Raisa exhibited perfect harmony as their outfits complemented each other during their dinner outing on Friday, August 11. The 31-year-old Gomez and 35-year-old Raisa sported matching leopard-print heels.
Raisa took to her Instagram Story later that night to express that the situation was not planned. She shared Gomez's photo of their shoes, affirming that there was no animosity between them, putting an end to the feud speculation. In terms of her outfit, the actress opted for a stylish black turtleneck dress, which she complemented with animal-print slingbacks. Gomez completed her ensemble by tying her hair into a sleek bun.
The pair has been close friends for many years. In 2017, during Gomez's struggle with lupus, the star of "How I Met Your Father" selflessly donated a kidney to her.
"I had a strong feeling deep inside me. I knew we were a match, and I knew it would happen. No one coerced me into doing it," Raisa shared on Josh Peck's "Good Guys" podcast recently. "I did it purely out of genuine kindness. Since then, I've been incredibly fortunate."

Addressing their situation publicly years ago was necessary, according to the speaker. However, the recent turn of events has caught her off guard, leaving her uncertain about whether it is advantageous or not to be unprepared for such occurrences.
After a few years following the kidney transplant, rumors began circulating among fans that Gomez and Raisa had grown apart. The situation escalated in November 2022 when Gomez stated in an interview with Rolling Stone that Taylor Swift was her "only friend in the industry." Raisa seemed to respond to this revelation on social media by unfollowing Gomez. Gomez, in turn, later apologized for not mentioning "every person" she knows in the profile.
However, both Gomez and Raisa have since put an end to the feud rumors. Just last month, Gomez even posted a heartfelt birthday tribute to her long-time friend. She wrote on her Instagram in July, "Wishing the happiest of birthdays to this special human being[sic]. No matter where life takes us, I love you. ♥️"
During her appearance on Peck's podcast in August, Raisa responded to the speculation surrounding their friendship. Expressing her aversion to reading comments, she revealed her vulnerability to negative remarks. Raisa candidly shared how hurtful words can deeply impact her, stating that some individuals can be extremely cruel. Recounting a hurtful comment suggesting that she seeks attention due to a failed career, she questioned whether her career could truly be considered a failure.
The former cast member of The Secret Life of the American Teenager jokingly mentioned that there was no conflict, only salsa, in reference to her upcoming salsa product line. Raisa also reiterated this phrase in the caption of her Friday social media post.
