Kim Zolciak and Chet Hanks developed a mutual attraction while filming the reality series Surreal Life. According to an exclusive source, they engaged in flirtation but did not pursue a romantic relationship. Kim, aged 45, finds Chet, aged 33, to be attractive.
MTV announced in September that The Surreal Life would be returning for its eighth season. Alongside Zolciak and Hanks, the cast will consist of Tyler Posey, Macy Gray, Johnny Weir, and others. The release date for the upcoming season has yet to be revealed.
Over the past year, Zolciak has faced various challenges amidst her turbulent divorce from estranged husband Kroy Biermann. After 11 years of marriage, both Zolciak and Biermann filed for divorce in May. Although they briefly reconciled in July, their renewed relationship was short-lived, and Biermann once again filed for divorce the following month. The former couple shares four children together: Kroy Jr., Kash, and twins Kaia and Kane. Additionally, Biermann has legally adopted Zolciak-Biermann's daughters from a previous relationship, Brielle and Ariana.
Zolciak argued in court papers obtained by Us in September that the second divorce petition filed by the former Atlanta Falcons player should be thrown out. She claimed that she and Biermann are still residing together and engaging in intimate relations on a regular basis.
During the same month, Zolciak faced the ire of a judge after she failed to attend a Zoom hearing regarding her ongoing divorce case. Zolciak's legal representative, David Beaudry, explained that she was returning from Colombia, where she had been shooting The Surreal Life for an extended period of time.
The attorney stated that the woman was expected to be present today, as her absence was not excused. "I did not waive her presence," the attorney emphasized, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Considering the hearing to be futile, the judge declared that from now on, all parties must be physically present in her courtroom. The hearing has been rescheduled for September 29.
Zolciak was deeply upset over her inability to attend the event, according to an exclusive source. Despite her desire to be there, she was left with no other option. In September, the insider revealed that production prevented her return to the United States due to ongoing filming commitments. The source also mentioned that Zolciak was compelled to prioritize earning money as both she and Biermann are facing financial difficulties.
Zolciak and Biermann are not only dealing with their divorce issues but are also under financial strain as their jointly owned home in Georgia is set to be foreclosed in November, as per documents obtained by Us.
According to court documents from September, "She has expressed her preference to file for bankruptcy, which would guarantee that both the parties and their children can continue living in the same house for a substantial period. Without receiving any financial gains from selling the marital property, they cannot afford to move out and find new homes."
