Scott Swift, father to Taylor Swift, showed his support for his daughter as they cheered on Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs during their victory over the New England Patriots. The pair watched the game from a suite at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts on Sunday, December 17, with Taylor's passionate reactions drawing attention, while Scott fully embraced his Chiefs fan status.
Scott, 71, was spotted alongside Taylor, 34, as she was featured on the stadium's jumbotron. The singer, seated with Brittany Mahomes, wife of Patrick Mahomes, blew a kiss to the camera while her father proudly pointed to his Chiefs sweater. In the past, Taylor and her father were devoted Philadelphia Eagles fans before she began dating Travis. Shannen Moen, a former Patriots intern and current content specialist for a Massachusetts-based company, later shared heartwarming TikTok videos of Taylor's moments with her father from a nearby suite.
She captioned a viral clip with, "I came for tay." The video showed Scott taking selfies with his daughter as they sat in their seats. Taylor posed with peace signs and stuck out her tongue while Scott smiled. One fan jokingly reposted the video, saying, "Scott Swift's photo gallery is the real vault."
In a subsequent video, Moen captured Scott "sharing Taylor’s birthday cake" with fans in her alternate suite. "We adore you," she wrote in the TikTok caption, while Scott was seen placing the treat down and engaging with fans. The camera then swiftly shifted to Taylor, who was seated and watching her dad's gesture while laughing along. (Moen’s video featured Taylor’s song "Lover" playing in the background.)
Taylor Swift and her father, Scott Swift, have been making appearances at NFL games since September, showing their support for Kelce and the Chiefs. They have also been joined by other members of Taylor's famous social circle, such as Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, as well as Alana Haim. Additionally, Taylor has been seen forming connections with Kelce's parents, Ed and Donna, at Arrowhead Stadium.
Kelce flew to Argentina last month to see Taylor perform on the international leg of her Eras Tour and was seen next to Scott, who was wearing a Chiefs lanyard. During an episode of his “New Heights” podcast, Kelce joked that he had brought Scott over to the "good side" and mentioned that he was working on converting Taylor’s family into Chiefs fans, one by one.
“I might have persuaded him the night before at dinner when I met him,” Kelce added, noting that Scott is a “huge football guy.”

Eagles center Jason Kelce, however, wasn’t too happy about the development.
“What are we doing?” he joked. “You’re gonna let this man’s devilishly good looks and relationship with your daughter sway you from a lifetime of fandom, Scott? Ridiculous.”
