Scott Evans, brother of Chris Evans, expressed his support for the actor's relationship with Alba Baptista. In a recent episode of the "Viall Files" podcast on Thursday, July 13, Scott, 39, acknowledged the challenges that come with being in the public eye. He stated, "In today's world, people have the ability to quickly ruin things. Unfortunately, it's not improving, but rather worsening. The way people behave can make it extremely difficult to date someone in the public eye."
Earlier this year, Chris, 42, and Baptista, 26, made their relationship public when Chris shared a video compilation of their moments from the previous year. This announcement created a buzz on the internet, with fans expressing their disappointment that Chris was no longer available.
Chris's girlfriend, Baptista, commented on the challenges they faced due to the intense scrutiny. She revealed that the constant negative attention towards their relationship puts strain on their personal lives and makes it difficult for them to maintain healthy relationships.
The actor playing Barbie also confessed to host Nick Viall that he frequently receives messages from fans of his brother who express their love for Chris and refer to Scott as their 'brother-in-law'.
"It has been a gradual journey for Chris' career, not an instant catapult into fame," he admitted. "We witnessed the rise of the internet. When he first began his acting career, Twitter didn't exist, so being able to witness it all unfold...and seeing the potential dark side where people can become audacious."

Scott, although protective of his brother, acknowledges and supports Chris and Baptista's relationship due to witnessing their happiness together. According to a source, Chris and Baptista had quickly developed a serious commitment, as revealed to We magazine in January.
According to an insider, they primarily reside in Massachusetts and enjoy the peaceful lifestyle surrounded by nature, away from the public eye. The source mentioned that Chris expressed his intention to take things slowly before committing to a settled life. Following a successful debut, Chris declared a summer break from social media five months later.
"Hey everyone, I am allowing myself to enjoy a summer with reduced screen time, so I have decided to take a small break from Twitter and Instagram," he tweeted in June and proceeded to deactivate his corresponding profiles. "Catch you all soon! Sending lots of love!"
