Scheana Shay tried to make amends with Tom Sandoval, but things took a different direction when he mentioned her past affair with Eddie Cibrian, Brandi Glanville's ex-husband.

In a recent episode of Vanderpump Rules on April 23, Scheana and Sandoval got into a heated argument when she mentioned her song "Apples," which made references to his well-known cheating scandal with Raquel Leviss.

Scheana expressed to Sandoval how deeply his affair with Ariana Madix had affected her. It not only ended their nearly decade-long romance but also caused a strain on their friendship and led to a restraining order. She mentioned that she decided to take advantage of the situation in some way.

Rachel and Scheana used to be close friends until news of Sandoval's affair broke in March 2023. A day before the cheating scandal came to light, Rachel accused Scheana of hitting her upon learning about the affair. Although the temporary restraining order was later lifted, Rachel has since distanced herself from Scheana and left the Bravo series before season 11.

On the latest episode of VPR, Sandoval said Scheana was “100 times more reactive” than Ariana, 38. However, Scheana defended herself by saying she had the right to react that way after Sandoval supported Rachel's decision to file a restraining order.

Scheana expressed, "Do you know why I reacted that way? Because all you had to do was keep quiet." Sandoval responded, "Scheana, I want you to understand something. This situation did not involve you. You were not the one cheated on, and Raquel did not have a relationship with Brock."

Sandoval expressed his frustration, questioning why the person was playing the role of the biggest victim in the situation. He emphasized that the focus should be on the actions that were taken, comparing it to a situation where stepping on someone's shoes would result in their house being burned down.

Scheana’s husband, Brock Davies, stood up for her. He expressed, “Hold on a second. You made a song about [Tom] Schwartz’s mom and Raquel.”

Sandoval responded to Scheana and Brock's reasoning by calling it "ridiculous." He mentioned that they seemed to feel more entitled to discuss events in his life than he did, and accused them of inserting themselves into the situation.

Scheana became visibly upset when Sandoval didn't understand her perspective. She expressed her feelings, saying, "Do you know that I now have messed up thoughts about Brock and Lala [Kent]—one of my best friends—because I am like, 'Oh my God, could someone do that to me?' Because you did it to [Ariana]. You did that."

The conversation seemed to come to an end when Scheana tried to leave. However, Sandoval made things worse by bringing up Scheana's past as "the other woman in a relationship."

Scheana was furious. "When I was 21 years old in 2006, are you kidding me?" she screamed at Sandoval. "I didn't know he was married. F—k you."

Brock chimed in, shutting Sandoval down. "She was in her 20s, bro. You're 40. It doesn't matter. Stop."

Lala, Ariana, and Katie Maloney were surprised by Sandoval's comment that they overheard. Lala, 33, mentioned that Sandoval's remark would drive her "crazy," while Katie, 37, described him as a "disgusting person."

Ariana took the opportunity to console Scheana before she departed, expressing, "He's awful, honey. I care about you a lot."

Vanderpump Rules fans are familiar with the context behind Sandoval’s dig. The backdoor pilot focused on Scheana attempting to reconcile with RHOBH‘s Brandi Glanville for her involvement in the affair with Eddie Cibrian.

Brandi, 51, and Eddie, 50, have two sons together. Their relationship ended in 2009 when it was revealed that he was having an affair with LeAnn Rimes. Scheana later shared that she decided to break things off with Eddie when she found out about his relationship with LeAnn, who was 41 at the time. Eddie and LeAnn eventually got married in 2011.

During Tuesday's episode, Brock and James Kennedy confronted Sandoval for mentioning past issues. However, Sandoval disagreed with them, as he believed his cheating scandal should also be considered old news.

He questioned, "If you bring up that song, aren't you also bringing up the past? Wasn't that 6 months ago? Shouldn't we be focusing on moving forward from that?"
