Savannah Chrisley gushes about her delightful relationship with boyfriend Robert Shiver, expressing immense gratitude for their serendipitous encounter A heartfelt glimpse into the budding romance of the Chrisley Knows Best star and her beau

Savannah Chrisley expressed her utmost happiness with boyfriend Robert Shiver following their public announcement of their relationship last month. "Things are going fantastic," shared the 26-year-old Chrisley exclusively with We on Monday, October 9, during her promotional activities for Special Forces: World's Toughest Test. "I am incredibly grateful to have such an amazing individual in my life."

The former cast member of Chrisley Knows Best acknowledged that although she revealed her relationship with Shiver on the “Viall Files” podcast in September, she is now striving to keep it more confidential.

"After candidly discussing my personal life on a podcast, I now find humor in the situation and have decided to refrain from disclosing too much in the future," she humorously shared with Us. "This is a relationship that I hold dear and want to safeguard. It remains uncertain where it may lead, but even if it doesn't result in a lifelong commitment, I am immensely thankful to have crossed paths with him."

Chrisley expressed her adoration for the 38-year-old former NFL player, describing him as an extraordinary individual from whom she has gained valuable insights on parenting. She also commended Shiver for his unwavering commitment, even in challenging circumstances.

After her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were convicted of tax evasion and fraud, Chrisley took on the role of guardian for her younger brother, Grayson, aged 17, and her niece Chloe, aged 10, in November 2022. In January, Todd, aged 54, started serving his 12-year prison sentence, while Julie, aged 50, began her seven-year stay in a Florida prison in the same month. (Chloe was previously adopted by Todd and Julie from Todd's eldest son, Kyle Chrisley.)

Robert, on the other hand, has three children with his estranged wife, Lindsay Shiver. Their highly publicized divorce gained media attention this year when Lindsay, who is 36 years old, was accused of conspiring a murder-for-hire plot against Robert. In August, Lindsay was arrested for her alleged role in the murder plan, but she is currently out on bail and awaiting trial.

Savannah spoke to Us and expressed that she believes their strong connection with Robert is exactly what they both needed at this point in their lives.

Savannah disclosed her relationship with Robert in September, informing her Special Forces co-star Nick Viall, "The person I am currently involved with had an incident where their spouse attempted to harm them. But everything is alright." She also admitted to initiating contact with Robert through direct messages.

During the conversation with Viall, 43, Savannah stated, "He's just a regular individual, and I appreciate that," emphasizing that their relationship was still in its early stages.

Savannah is grateful for her connection with Robert after competing on Special Forces this season. She found the food to be the toughest part of the reality show, especially in high-stress situations. She expressed her need for food, sleep, and a shower, which were not readily available. Savannah, who left the show in Monday's season 2 episode, found it challenging to focus on the game due to being away from her children, Grayson and Chloe.

"I felt an immense longing for my children. Every day, I would communicate with my parents, and not once did an entire weekend pass without me visiting them," she expressed. "This was the most challenging aspect for me. I felt torn between dedicating precious time to work and realizing the brevity of life. So, the question arose within me: 'Do I truly desire to spend another five days or however long in this setting, or am I prepared to return home?' My heart yearned to be with my children and to reunite with my parents."
