In episode 1 of Sasaki and Peeps, titled Modern Time and Another World, a nearly 40-year-old man named Sasaki bought a pet java sparrow to bring some joy into his life. To his surprise, the bird turned out to be a starsage from another world named Piercarlo. Sasaki renamed him Peeps and the two teamed up to seek wealth.
As a result, Sasaki entered the world of business by selling Japanese goods to a merchant from Peeps' world. He also learned magic, partnered with Mr. French to open an eatery, and gained the trust of the local governor, Viscount Muller.

Additionally, with Sasaki's senior Akutsu expressing interest in his data at the end of the previous episode, there is a possibility of Akutsu becoming more involved with his new junior.
Editor's P/S
As an enthusiastic fan of the anime series "Sasaki and Peeps," I eagerly await the release of episode 2. The first episode introduced us to the intriguing premise of a weary man named Sasaki who unexpectedly finds companionship in a wise sage from another world, Peeps. The dynamic between Sasaki and Peeps is both humorous and heartwarming, and I am excited to see how their relationship develops in the upcoming episodes.
The first episode also hinted at a larger plot involving a secret government agency that deals with psychics, known as the Paranormal Phenomena Countermeasure Bureau. Sasaki's recruitment into this organization adds an element of mystery and intrigue to the story, and I am eager to learn more about the bureau and its missions. I believe that episode 2 will provide more insights into this aspect of the plot and further expand the world-building of the anime.
