Recap of The Kingdoms of Ruin episode 1
The first episode of The Kingdoms of Ruin, titled And So, Our Story Begins, delved into Adonis' backstory. The anime showcased the fear and apprehension humans had towards witches, despite their helpful nature. Consequently, the Kingdom of Redia commenced a witch eradication campaign. However, a witch named Chloe Morgan managed to evade execution and took it upon herself to raise and educate Adonis in the ways of magic.

While in hiding, Chloe and Adonis were eventually tracked down by Redia's soldiers who then transported them to King Goethe. In a humiliating manner, the king publicly shamed Chloe before proceeding to carry out her execution.
A decade later, the state of affairs in Redia deteriorated, with children being unlawfully incarcerated and exploited. Among these imprisoned youngsters was Doroka, who bravely orchestrated a successful escape plan, liberating Adonis from his confinement in a heavily guarded cell.
What to expect from The Kingdoms of Ruin episode 2?
In the upcoming episode 2 of Kingdoms of Ruin, it is highly anticipated that Adonis will successfully break free from his imprisonment alongside Doroka.
