Is there a Sasaki and Peeps release date?

Sasaki and Peep’s anime adaptation will premiere on November 18, at Anime NYC 2023.

In early November 2023, Crunchyroll announced that there would be an exclusive early screening of Sasaki and Peeps first episode at Anime NYC 2023.

If you are unable to attend the event, the series is scheduled to be officially aired on Crunchyroll in January 2024. However, we do not have an official release date for the series at the moment.

Sasaki, an ordinary man trapped in the monotony of a dull office job, feels exhausted, unsatisfied, and achingly lonely. Seeking to alleviate his desolation, he impulsively ventures into a pet shop, hopeful to discover a loyal companion. Little does he anticipate that this impromptu visit will initiate a series of transformative events, forever altering the course of his existence.

Within the confines of the pet shop, he encounters an unassuming yet endearing bird who, unbeknownst to him, possesses profound wisdom from a different realm. This newfound companion bestows upon Sasaki extraordinary abilities, which he eagerly anticipates employing to forge a tranquil and easier life. However, an assortment of eccentric characters harbor contrasting intentions for him, setting forth a captivating sequence of occurrences that shape the narrative.

Sasaki and Peeps cast, crew and production

This upcoming series, produced by Tokyo-based animation studio Silver Link, best known for creating slice-of-life stories such as WataMote and Mitsuboshi Colors, is set to deliver a delightfully "kawaii" experience.

Is there a trailer?

The first teaser trailer for Sasaki and Peeps came in July 2022.

The much-anticipated full-length trailer for Sasaki and Peeps is yet to be unveiled. However, fans were treated to a sneak peek last year in July 2022 with the release of the first teaser trailer. The teaser introduced the captivating main characters, Sasaki and Pii-chan, and provided a tantalizing glimpse into the story.

With the anime scheduled to be released in January 2024, and the first episode airing at Anime NYC 2023, we’re sure that a new official trailer will come any day now.

What about the Sasaki and Peeps video game?

A genre-bending MMORG game version is being developed.

The official video game for Sasaki and Peep was announced on Twitter in July 2023, followed by the release of a teaser trailer in August of the same year. Named Sasaki and Peeps: Mid-life Revolution, this MMORPG is based on the upcoming anime and is set to be released on G123 in 2024.
