Acknowledging that ALS is a devastating illness, Bullock-Prado expressed gratitude for her exceptional sister and the dedicated team of nurses she organized, who provided outstanding care for her loved one in the comfort of their own home.

Bullock-Prado expressed her condolences on the same day it was announced that Randall, aged 57, had passed away. "With deep sadness, we inform you that on August 5, Bryan Randall peacefully lost his battle with ALS after three years," the photographer's family stated on Monday. "Bryan made the decision to keep his struggle with ALS private from the beginning, and those of us who cared for him did our utmost to respect his wishes."

Gesine Bullock Prado, Sandra Bullock, and Bryan Randall have requested donations in honor of Bryan to the ALS Association and Massachusetts General Hospital, much like Bullock-Prado. The family expressed their deep gratitude towards the doctors and nurses who supported them during Bryan's illness, and now they request privacy as they mourn and process the difficult reality of saying goodbye.
