Ryan Sutter has reassured Bachelor Nation that he and Trista Sutter are not getting a divorce, following his cryptic social media posts that caused concern.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, May 18, Ryan, 49, explained that he often shares his thoughts and feelings in the moment without intending to deceive or mislead anyone. He believes that openly expressing his emotions can help him process them and potentially offer support to others facing similar challenges.

Trista is doing well, and so are we. She's at a point in her life where she's exploring. An opportunity came up that could help her in this journey. With her family's backing, she has decided to pursue it. This means she won't be around for a while. We miss her a lot.

Ryan and Trista got married after meeting on The Bachelorette in 2003. They have a son named Maxwell, who is 16, and a daughter named Blakesley, who is 15. Their love story is one of the most enduring in Bachelor Nation, and fans enjoy keeping up with them on social media.

Ryan caused concern when he posted on Instagram on May 11 about missing Trista, alongside a black-and-white photo. The next day, he shared that she wouldn't be with the family on Mother's Day.

In a family photo caption, Ryan expressed understanding of Trista's absence on Mother's Day. He highlighted the importance of letting go, promoting independence, and inspiring courage in their children. He emphasized the value of leading by example, even when it means stepping out of one's comfort zone. Ryan reassured Trista that her love transcends distance and challenges, and praised her for all she does for their family. Happy Mother's Day!

He expressed on social media his longing for Trista on May 17, mentioning how he wished they could have a conversation. He emphasized, "I really want to know how you're doing." Despite not being able to be there physically, he expressed his desire to support, encourage, and root for her while she takes time to rediscover herself.

Ryan ended his message with a note of reassurance, stating, "I may not be physically present, but I am here for you. When you return, I will be here to lend an ear, share a smile, or even shed a tear with you. My love and support for you will always be here, forever."

Fans expressed their concerns in the comments, wondering if the couple is going through a rough patch. One person hoped that they can resolve any issues, saying it's a great love story, while another pointed out that it may seem like something serious happened.

In Bachelor Nation, some people suggested that Trista might be filming a reality TV show, a theory supported by Ashley Iaconnetti.

"Hey, have you seen Trista lately? Ryan's Instagram post on Mother's Day was kind of mysterious, but not in a bad way," Iaconetti, 36, mentioned on the Wednesday, May 15, episode of her and Ben Higgins' "Almost Famous" podcast.

"I heard she's going to be away for two weeks," Iaconetti added. "It seems like [former Bachelorette] Ali Fedotowsky is also away for two weeks and made a similar post. Do you think they're shooting a show? Or maybe Trista joined Special Forces? I always thought she'd be perfect for it."

Fedotowsky, 39, posted a screenshot on Instagram on Wednesday of herself FaceTiming her husband Kevin Manno and their son, Riley, 6. She mentioned that she will be without her phone for a while and this will be the longest time she has ever been away from her family.

She also has a daughter named Molly, 7, with Manno. After saying goodbye to her sweet boys, Fedotowsky admitted that she was emotional and feeling like a "blubbering mess."
