There is no denying that recipients of the first impression rose on The Bachelorette have a track record of going far in the competition, especially when compared to contestants on The Bachelor. However, not all of these initial connections have stood the test of time.
The tradition of the first impression rose began during DeAnna Pappas' season 4 of The Bachelorette, when Jesse Csincsak, among two other men, received this honor along with the final rose. Unfortunately, their relationship did not last. Nevertheless, this marked the beginning of a long-standing tradition where first impression rose winners often end up proposing, with men from Ali Fedotowsky, Kaitlyn Bristowe, JoJo Fletcher, Rachel Lindsay, Becca Kufrin, Clare Crawley, and Michelle Young's seasons following suit.
