Karen Huger from The Real Housewives of Potomac was in a serious car accident. According to Montgomery County Police, the incident happened late at night on Tuesday, March 19, in Potomac, Maryland. Huger was driving her 2017 Maserati aggressively and ended up hitting an intersection crosswalk sign and a parking sign before her car stopped.

No information has been provided about whether Huger or anyone else was hurt in the accident. Huger's car's airbag was activated, and her vehicle was said to be so badly damaged that it had to be taken away by a tow truck.

Although Huger was not taken into custody, she supposedly got several citations from the police. We have tried to contact the Montgomery County Police and Huger's representative for a statement.

Before her car accident in Maryland, Huger was enjoying the sun in Jamaica with her daughter, Rayvin Huger. Karen shared a TikTok video of Rayvin using her makeup from MAC Cosmetics during their vacation. She had no idea Rayvin was filming as she jokingly scolded her for not putting away the makeup.

In the video captioned by Rayvin, Karen can be heard criticizing her for not organizing her makeup products while on vacation. Karen is the mother of Rayvin and her son, Brandon, whom she shares with her husband, Raymond A Huger.

Karen has not yet mentioned her car accident on social media. She shared her RHOP reunion outfit on Instagram on Tuesday evening. She captioned it, "ART was the assignment. Present and accounted for!"

Karen has been part of the original RHOP cast since the show premiered in 2016. Her tagline for the current eighth season is "I don’t ride the fence, honey, I am the fence. You ride me," which has become iconic. However, she told Us exclusively that she wishes she had used a different catchphrase.

Karen shared in January that people often come for her but don't find her easily. She jokingly wished that this had been her tagline.

Inspired by her memorable "wig shift" moment in season 3, Karen decided to launch a wig line with RPGSHOW. She believes that women who wear wigs should embrace it. When her wig shifted, she turned it into a moment and created RPGSHOW. Now, she proudly owns her own wig line called La Dame and continues to move forward.

Karen made a bold fashion choice last month on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. Instead of wearing pants, she rocked a pair of black velvet underwear paired with matching black tights, a blazer, a white button-down shirt, and black closed-toed heels with a diamond ankle strap.

Editor's P/S:

The news of Karen Huger's car accident has come as a shock to fans of "The Real Housewives of Potomac." While details about her injuries remain unknown, the extent of the damage to her car suggests the incident was serious. It is fortunate that Huger was not taken into custody, despite receiving citations, and we hope she is recovering well.

Huger's recent social media posts, showing her enjoying a vacation in Jamaica, provide a stark contrast to the aftermath of the accident. Her playful interactions with her daughter and her focus on fashion and beauty stand in juxtaposition to the potential trauma she experienced. It is a reminder of the unpredictable nature of life and the resilience of the human spirit. We wish Karen a full and speedy recovery and look forward to hearing more about her side of the story.
