RHONY's Sai De Silva Exposes Explosive Feud with Co-star Brynn Whitfield: Juicy Details Revealed!

Sai De Silva candidly discusses her relationship with 'RHONY' castmate Brynn Whitfield, revealing that they are not as close as they may seem Find out the truth behind their friendship in this exclusive interview with Sai De Silva

Sai De Silva and Brynn Whitfield's friendship on The Real Housewives of New York City has fractured. "By the end of this season, we are no longer best friends... but stay tuned to discover what happens," Sai, 42, revealed exclusively to We on Thursday, July 20, while promoting the upcoming season of RHONY. "I was shocked by this revelation. It was completely unexpected."

The latest season of RHONY started a few weeks ago, bringing in a fresh group of Housewives from New York City. Among them are Sai, a fashion influencer, and Brynn, a marketing consultant at the age of 36. In the first episode, Brynn couldn't help but express her admiration for her close bond with Sai.

"Without a doubt, Sai is one of my closest friends," revealed Brynn, the only unmarried RHONY cast member, in a confessional during the premiere on July 16. "I love spending time at her place because it represents the life I aspire to have."

In the episode, Brynn surprised Sai's two children, London (11) and Rio (5), with special gifts during her visit to the Brooklyn-based family. It was during this visit that Brynn openly admitted that being around Sai and her husband David Craig's kids made her desire to have children of her own. However, she jokingly stated that she did not feel the same way about costar Jessel Taank's energetic twin sons, who are two years old and belong to her husband Pavit Randhawa.

Following the conclusion of filming, Brynn and Sai's friendship is no longer considered a model relationship, as the Scout the City blogger revealed to Us that their sudden feud caught her off guard.

Sai described the situation as completely unexpected and mentioned that their disagreement will be shown later in this season. She stated that it was a positive experience overall.

When questioned about whether she believed Brynn turned out to be different from her initial perception, Sai dismissed the speculation. She stated, "Not exactly. She's a lively and enjoyable person. She has a vibrant personality and is great for socializing, but let's just say she struggles with keeping secrets."

Sai denied that their friendship breakup was caused by Brynn's flirtatious behavior with the Househusbands, despite allusions made by Sai. According to Sai, the issue had nothing to do with flirting. Sai explained that Brynn often communicates through humor, but sometimes her jokes don't resonate well. In that particular moment, Brynn was attempting to make a joke or demonstrate funny behavior, but it didn't come across effectively.

Erin, aged 36, was not pleased when her friend allegedly made advances towards her spouse. However, Sai, in contrast, wouldn't be bothered if a similar situation occurred with her own partner.

"If someone flirts with my husband, I say, 'Well done to you,'" she jokingly shared with Us, referring to her husband of 14 years. "I'm genuinely happy that you still have that spark, you know? Thumbs up. But then I like to intervene, especially if I notice a girl flirting with him from across the room. I make sure to point out my husband and then make it known that he is not available. However, I do believe it's good for the soul. It's like a little competitive game. Marriage doesn't mean the end of vitality."
