RHONY's Brynn Whitfield Experiences an Awkward Moment at BravoCon: Louboutins Caught in Escalator

The Real Housewives of New York star Brynn Whitfield knows how to make a memorable entrance.

Upon descending an escalator to greet a cheering crowd at a BravoCon panel on Saturday, November 4, Whitfield, age 37, abruptly halted. Her white Louboutin heels became entangled at the escalator's base, resulting in Whitfield being barefoot and causing both the audience and panel to burst into laughter. While Whitfield brushed off the incident with a laugh and proceeded to her seat, the camera focused on the distinctive red soles of her shoes, which were stuck upright at the foot of the escalator.

"It's as if the wicked witch of the west found herself trapped in the escalator!" the moderator quipped, alluding to the famous scene in the Wizard of Oz where the witch's shoes protrude from beneath a house.

Inquiring further, the moderator asked, "Is this your inaugural experience with an escalator?" Whitfield promptly responded, "No!" Then, he humorously pondered, "Am I required to pay for using the escalator?"

“Yes, Brynn,” the moderator teased. “I’m so sorry.”

Whitfield opened up further about the incident exclusively to We, saying she was “mortified.”

“Thank God. This is [why] you always have to have a pedicure,” she added.

Later during the three-day fan convention held in Las Vegas, Andy Cohen made an appearance and reacted to the Louboutins that remained firmly stuck in place. "That is truly iconic," he exclaimed, wondering aloud, "Could there possibly be a deceased individual beneath those glamorous heels? This photograph perfectly captures the essence of BravoCon."

Despite misplacing her white Louboutin heels, the reality TV star maintained a chic and polished appearance owing to the rest of her outfit. Whitfield donned a sleek, long dark denim skirt with a high-front slit that added an element of allure. She combined it with a partially unbuttoned white and navy striped button-down shirt, effortlessly layered over a black lacy bra.

To enhance her overall look, she styled her lengthy locks in loose waves, exuding a sense of effortless beauty. Additionally, she opted for a subtle makeup look, featuring black eyeliner to accentuate her eyes, a nude lip, and glowing, dewy skin.

Eventually, the now infamous pair of heels were dislodged from the escalator and Whitfield flashed a smile as she posed with them in front of cameras.

Whitfield rose to fame as a Bravolebrity after joining the cast of RHONY in its fourteenth season, alongside Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, and Erin Lichy.

Residing in Manhattan's West Village, Whitfield puts her expertise in marketing and communications to use. While the show revolves around housewives, Whitfield herself is not married, despite having been engaged three times. Bravo describes her as a "trophy wife in training."
