'RHONY' Star Erin Lichy Claims She Hosted the Best Party This Year, Unlike Her Costars

Erin Lichy, a member of The Real Housewives of New York City, believes she is the cast's ultimate hostess. In an exclusive interview for the "Housewives Happy Hour" series, the 36-year-old expressed her dissatisfaction with the criticism she has received. According to Erin, no one managed to throw a better party than hers this year.

Erin hosted a grand party to celebrate her and her husband Abraham Lichy's 10th wedding anniversary during the sixth episode of season 14 in August. Despite the joyous occasion of their vow renewal, some of the RHONY ladies criticized the event for its food and numerous speeches from family and friends.

Erin, on her part, addressed the group's concerns in the following episode, particularly Sai De Silva's early departure due to hunger. She informed De Silva, aged 42, that there was an abundance of food at the party and that every attendee praised the incredible quality of the cuisine.

The real estate agent informed us that she consistently provides a diverse selection of food at her gatherings. She emphasized her commitment to catering for all guests, sharing an example of hosting a Rosh Hashanah dinner for a group of 25 people and having an abundance of leftovers.

However, Erin acknowledged that she intends to offer a wider range of options for vegetarians in future events.

Erin admitted that despite considering her party the best of the season, her anniversary outfit was actually the least favorite look she wore on the show. Her ultimate favorite was the swingers outfit, she gushed. However, one particular look that fans never had the chance to see on screen was the Indian sari she tried on during dress shopping with Jessel Taank and the cast. Erin recalled the embarrassing incident when someone informed her that she had just gotten her period while wearing the expensive and beautiful sari. "I was so embarrassed," she reminisced. "I immediately offered to buy it, but they reassured me that it was okay and accidents happen. They were very kind, but it was definitely a mortifying experience."

Erin remarked that the gown had a price tag of approximately $12,000 and had been meticulously adorned with hand-beaded embellishments. "I feel like a teenager, honestly, how did I not realize I was getting my period?" she humorously quipped. "I was completely clueless."

Erin mentioned that if she were to experience a wardrobe malfunction in the future, she would gladly borrow various items from Jenna Lyons' closet. According to Erin, Jenna was kind enough to lend her a pair of large diamond studs for the premiere party, which she found incredibly adorable and appreciated.
