RHONY Cast Discusses Jenna Lyons' BravoCon Absence and Future on Season 15

The Real Housewives of New York City cast came together for a reunion at BravoCon 2023, but one notable star was missing - Jenna Lyons.

According to Sai De Silva, Jenna was attending another event during the second day of the Bravo fan convention in Las Vegas on Saturday, November 4. On the same day, Brynn Whitfield shared that Jenna, who is 55 years old, was enjoying her time in her stunning apartment with her partner, Cass Bird.

Despite not being physically present at BravoCon, the other RHONY ladies made a conscious effort to ensure that Jenna felt involved in the weekend's celebrations. "We have been FaceTiming her and sending her pictures," revealed Ubah Hassan. "We are also in a group chat."

Nevertheless, Jenna's nonattendance at the event sparked curiosity among fans regarding her potential return for RHONY season 15. "We really hope so. We adore Jenna," expressed Sai, 42. "She serves as the voice of reason in our group."

Erin Lichy expressed sadness at the potential departure of Jenna from the Bravo series, but Brynn, aged 37, believes that RHONY season 14 may not be the fashion designer's final season on the show. Brynn praised Jenna for her entrepreneurial and business skills, her ability to adapt, and her eventful life, stating that this is just another exciting chapter for her.

Ubah, aged 40, also remains hopeful about the possibility of filming with Jenna again, despite the drama they experienced during this season. At the RHONY reunion, Ubah accused Jenna of not being genuine on camera and avoiding drama that did not directly involve her. According to Ubah, Jenna presents a victimized image on TV, but in reality, she is a force to be reckoned with.

Jenna explained to Ubah that being under constant surveillance by cameras changes the dynamic. She believes that vulnerability and strength can coexist, and she does not hold a position of power in this situation.

On Saturday, Ubah clarified her feelings towards Jenna, expressing her love for her. She pointed out that the edited footage shown on television cannot capture the entire eight hours of their interactions. The show's producer and editor select what they deem significant to the story. Ubah emphasized that she has no issues with Jenna, and they maintain a friendly relationship, using a playful vegan reference to convey their harmony.

Brynn expressed her deep admiration for Jenna both on and off the small screen. “She’s Jenna f–king Lyons. She wakes up in the morning exuding chicness, wearing sunglasses and effortlessly speaking French,” Brynn shared with Us. “Despite her incredible qualities, she remains humble and down-to-earth. She has this magnetic energy and is truly extraordinary.”

Jenna had never anticipated becoming a fan favorite of the revamped version of RHONY, as she revealed earlier. She had doubted whether people would even remember her name after filming with strong personalities like Ubah and Brynn. However, she was pleasantly surprised to see fans fangirling and fanboying over her on the street.

When asked about the reason behind winning over viewers, Jenna simply stated, "I think it's because I'm cute."
