RHONJ's Jackie Goldschneider's Reality TV Regrets Extend Beyond Gia Giudice Analogy

RHONJ's Jackie Goldschneider's Reality TV Regrets Extend Beyond Gia Giudice Analogy

Real Housewives of New Jersey's Jackie Goldschneider shares her regret about the Gia Giudice analogy on season 11, explaining why she avoids watching it

Jackie Goldschneider thoroughly enjoyed her time on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, except for one particular moment she would rather not revisit. During the latest episode of "Housewives' Happy Hour," the 47-year-old exclusively shared that she doesn't want to relive the intense argument she had with Teresa Giudice on Margaret Josephs' couch.

Reflecting on the season 11 dispute, Jackie admitted that she may not have chosen the best analogy while comparing baseless cheating rumors to Teresa's daughter, Gia, engaging in drug use.

When questioned about her "biggest regret of all time" from the show, Jackie reiterated her remorse regarding the aforementioned exchange, stating, "Yes, my regret lies in the analogy."

During the airing of season 11 of RHONJ in 2021, Teresa, 51, made an allegation that she had heard rumors of Jackie's husband, Evan Goldschneider, cheating on her at the gym. Following this, Jackie confronted Teresa, expressing her displeasure with the unfounded rumor and drawing a parallel to Teresa's own baseless accusation regarding Gia allegedly using drugs in the bathroom at parties just because she had "heard" it somewhere.

Jackie clarified to Us that she was not spreading a rumor about Gia, but rather using an analogy. She believed that using someone close to Teresa was the only way to make her understand. She acknowledged that speaking negatively about someone you love, regardless of its truth, is hurtful. Later, Jackie expressed her apologies to Gia and emphasized on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that her intention was never to harm her.

Teresa, on the other hand, expressed to Andy Cohen in February that although she believes Jackie's analogy "was incorrect," she disclosed that she had "pardoned" her fellow cast member for the comment.

During her conversation on "Housewives' Happy Hour" with Us, Jackie also admitted that the Gia and Teresa conflict is not her sole remorse onscreen. "I have yet to overcome the incident where I publicly stated that I don't perform certain actions for my spouse," she playfully alluded to the moment in season 10 when she told her friends, "Jewish girls don't give blow jobs."

She disclosed to us, "Although my dad wasn't a big fan of watching it repeatedly, I have no regrets."
