RHOM's Alexia Nepola Breaks Her Silence on Husband Todd Nepola Filing for Divorce

Alexia Nepola from The Real Housewives of Miami shared her feelings about her husband, Todd Nepola, filing for divorce after almost three years of marriage.

In a post on Instagram Stories on Monday, April 15, the 56-year-old expressed her shock and sadness over Todd's decision to end their marriage. Despite the difficult situation, Alexia mentioned that she finds comfort in knowing that her friends and family will be there to support her during this challenging time.

We confirmed earlier on Monday that Todd, 51, submitted the paperwork in Miami earlier this month. Despite rumors about her marriage being brought up on season 6 of RHOM, Alexia previously claimed that she was on great terms with Todd.

Alexia expressed her love for Todd on Instagram in February, declaring, “No matter what life throws my way, there’s one thing I can be sure of… We belong together. You will always be my Valentine. I love you forever ️️.”

Alexia and Todd's relationship has been showcased on multiple seasons of The Real Housewives of Miami. After dating for several years, Todd popped the question to Alexia in 2019, and the couple later tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in St. Barths.

"Our favorite part of the ceremony was when a large sea turtle emerged from the water. I felt like there was a special message from the universe," she shared with We in December 2021. "Sea turtles represent long life, peace, determination, healing, wisdom, and emotional resilience. To me, they symbolize strength and endurance."

Before marrying Todd, Alexia shared her feelings about their future. She admitted that after two failed marriages to dishonest men, she had become skeptical. However, when she met Todd five years ago, she felt a sense of trust in him. In a December 2021 episode of RHOM, Alexia expressed her hope of spending the rest of her life with Todd. She emphasized that Todd not only loves her but also cares for her son, Frankie.

The reality star was previously married to Peter Rosello Sr. (who was the subject of Netflix’s Cocaine Cowboys: The Kings of Miami) from 1992 to 1996. They share sons Peter, 31, and Frankie, 26. Alexia went on to marry Herman Echevarria in 2004, and they remained together until 2015. Echevarria was found dead in 2016.

Season 6 of RHOM took a turn when Alexia’s costars questioned her future with Todd amid speculation about their finances. Their reasoning mainly came from Alexia’s surprising move from her condo with son Frankie, which she later defended.

Alexia mentioned during the season 6 reunion earlier this year that she doesn't like the assumption that she's facing financial difficulties just because she had to move out of her rented unit when it was sold. She emphasized that her husband is a successful businessman with his own company.
