Love bloomed in a house filled with cameras! Winning Big Brother without an alliance is a challenge, and it becomes even more difficult when you're part of a showmance. However, contestants consistently defy the odds and form romantic connections while inside the house.
In season 16, Hayden Voss and Nicole Franzel started a showmance that briefly continued beyond the show. After their departure from the house in 2014, they went their separate ways. Franzel made a comeback in season 18, and once again found love, this time with Corey Brooks.
After the show, the CBS personalities went their separate ways. Nicole started a relationship with Victor Arroyo, her fellow contestant from season 18. They got married in March 2021 and had a son named Arrow in July of the same year.
Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson, who appeared on season 19, also found love on the show. They got married in 2018 and have three daughters together. Additionally, Cody has a daughter named Paisley from a previous relationship.
Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans, who were contestants on Season 20 of Big Brother, ended their four-year relationship and called off their engagement in 2022. According to an exclusive source, the couple broke up a while ago and it was confirmed in December. Tyler had proposed to Angela on a beach in January 2021.

'Big Brother' Showmances Through the Years: Where Are They Now?
In a place filled with cameras, they discovered love! Winning Big Brother is no easy task, especially if you're in a showmance. Yet, competitors continue to form alliances and find romance within the house.
During season 16, Hayden Voss and Nicole Franzel started a showmance that briefly continued outside the house. However, after leaving in 2014, they went their separate ways. When Franzel returned for season 18 two years later, she entered into another romantic relationship, this time with Corey Brooks.
Following the show, the CBS personalities quickly went their separate ways. Nicole then started dating Victor Arroyo, who also competed in season 18. They got married in March 2021 and welcomed their son, Arrow, in July of the same year.
In season 19, Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson found a lasting connection on the show. They eventually got married in 2018 and now have three daughters together. Additionally, Cody has an older daughter named Paisley from a previous relationship.

Alyssa Snider and Kyle Capener — Season 24
The pair ignited a romantic relationship when they first crossed paths on the reality TV program. However, Kyle created controversy by making racist comments and seemingly rallying the white participants to unite in the house. As a result, he was eliminated from the competition during the episode aired on September 1, 2022.
Alyssa expressed her deep disappointment with the comments made by Kyle during their time in the house, and she emphasized the need for clarification. Following her own eviction, Alyssa revealed her intention to engage in meaningful discussions with Kyle while in jury. Afterward, she planned to speak with her family and friends to assess the status of their relationship.
Despite the controversy surrounding Kyle's comments, Alyssa and Kyle sparked dating rumors in October 2022 when they shared photos together during a trip to Florida. Although they remained elusive about their relationship status in November 2022, the couple embarked on a holiday trip to London together.
After their European vacation, Kyle took to social media to announce their breakup. In a heartfelt message shared in January 2023, he expressed, "It is with a heavy heart that Alyssa and I have decided to take some time apart. This decision was made with immense love and consideration for each other's mental health. Despite the split, we remain on amicable terms and will continue to support each other in every aspect of our lives. We kindly request your understanding and support during this challenging time."

Taylor Hale and Joseph Abdin — Season 24
After becoming the first Black woman to win the reality series, Taylor disclosed to Us that she and fellow contestant Joseph were romantically connected. Sharing her thoughts in September 2022, Taylor described Joseph as an exceptional support system and acknowledged that their strong bond was evident to everyone throughout the competition. However, she emphasized the importance of not rushing into a relationship and potentially forming an unhealthy attachment stemming from shared trauma. Taylor expressed her desire to prioritize personal clarity before fully committing to a relationship with Joseph, believing that this approach would allow them to build a solid foundation for future exploration and growth together.
The Michigan native expressed, "We are enjoying ourselves and prioritizing self-care. However, I have no intention of letting go of Joseph in the near future."
Joseph affirmed Taylor's feelings by stating, "We are embracing each day as it comes. Our love and enjoyment of each other's company happen organically, and we won't allow any external pressure to rush our relationship."
In November, the couple made their official announcement that they were dating. Unfortunately, by April of the following year, they ended their relationship.
In an Instagram statement, Taylor expressed, "Joseph and I have decided to continue to love and support each other as best friends. We realized that this is what's best for both of our futures. This decision was made with love, care, and a deep acknowledgement of how significant our relationship is to both of us." Joseph also reposted the statement.
After the breakup, it was revealed to Us exclusively that geographical distance played a significant part in their separation. Joseph felt anchored to Florida due to personal and career commitments, while Taylor gradually came to the realization that she couldn't envision herself residing in the same state.

Taylor Hale and Monte Taylor — Season 24
During the summer of 2022, Taylor and Monte shared an intimate moment on camera when they embraced in his room. Despite keeping their relationship hidden from the other contestants, they encountered conflicts that eventually resulted in a major argument. Following the conclusion of the season, the couple decided not to pursue a romantic connection any further.

Christian Birkenberger and Alyssa Lopez — Season 23
Status: Done
In November 2021, Alyssa exclusively informed Us that she and Christian are simply friends. They came to the realization that pursuing a romantic relationship is not feasible due to their respective careers and limited availability to spend time with friends. Christian further expressed that, at least for the time being, they mutually agreed that maintaining a friendship would be a safer option.

Derek Xiao and Claire Rehfuss — Season 23
Status: Dating
After the season concluded, they exclusively disclosed to We that they were in a relationship. "I believe we both sensed a strong connection once we arrived at the jury house and had the opportunity to truly connect," she mentioned in October 2021. "Every single night, we would engage in late-night conversations, establishing a profound bond."

Memphis Garrett and Christmas Abbott — Season 22
Status: Married
While Memphis and Christmas did not spark a showmance inside the Big Brother house, Us exclusively confirmed that they had begun dating nearly three months after filming wrapped.
"The moment I entered the house, around week six, I sensed an intriguing quality about her that I simply couldn't overlook," revealed the entrepreneur, who achieved the runner-up position in both seasons 10 and 22, exclusively informing Us in December 2020. "We both had to handle our own circumstances with respect and allow for some space. It was during this period of separation that I truly comprehended how indispensable she was to me."
Having exchanged vows in May of the subsequent year, the couple sealed their commitment after getting engaged in June 2021.

Nick Maccarone and Kathryn Dunn — Season 21
Status: Done
Big Brother's first-ever jurymance occurred between Nick and Kat when the duo sparked a flirtatious relationship in the Jury House. This connection came as a surprise since Nick was still in a committed relationship with Bella. Kat, on the other hand, held negative perceptions of Nick due to his involvement in a final six deal with Cliff Hogg III, a member of her alliance, which ultimately led to her eviction. However, Kat revealed that her opinion of Nick changed during their time in the Jury House, describing him as an incredible person and friend. While they were flirtatious, there were no romantic encounters during their stay. The couple later broke up in April 2020 following a heated argument on Instagram Live.

Nick Maccarone and Isabella Wang — Season 21
The therapist and the public health analyst quickly bonded in the Big Brother house. In less than a month, Nick professed his love for her. He became emotional when Bella was evicted, but he moved on swiftly, cuddling and sharing a bed with Analyse. When Nick got evicted and sent to the Jury House, he began flirting with Kat, another juror. While Nick was still isolated, Bella ended their relationship on Twitter, expressing her understanding of how close houseguests can become in the BB house. She stated that she could no longer support Nick and his actions, emphasizing that no one deserves to feel like they come second in a relationship.

Jackson Michie and Kathryn Dunn — Season 21
Relationship between the Big Brother champion and the digital marketing executive began prior to the activation of the live feed cameras, yet their romance was brief. Jackson grew disenchanted with Kat's emotionally-driven strategies, leading him to terminate their showmance in favor of the $500,000 reward.

Jackson Michie and Holly Allen — Season 21
Status: DoneAfter their journey as wine safari guide partners on the show, Jackson and the guide formed a showmance that captivated viewers until the final two. After their time in the house, the personal trainer and the soccer player initiated a romantic connection which persisted even after the show concluded. On Instagram in November 2019, the couple disclosed that their relationship, known as Janalyse, had come to an end. Analyse attributed the breakup to the challenges of maintaining a long-distance relationship and the fact that she and Jack were currently in different phases of their lives.

Swaggy C and Bayleigh Dayton — Season 20
Marital Status: Married
The couple's romantic relationship commenced soon after they entered the house. However, their time together was cut short as Swaggy was evicted after just 23 days. Despite the brevity of their romance, the day trader proposed to the flight attendant during the season finale, having spent a significant portion of the summer with her family. "I choose you and no one else," he professed. "Although I can't foresee what lies ahead, I know that I want you to be a part of it." Later that evening, the newly engaged couple elected not to address the rumors of pregnancy during the aftershow, Off the Block With Ross and Marissa. However, Bayleigh did mention, "We have every intention of starting a family." Two days later, the pair confirmed on YouTube that Bayleigh did become pregnant while on the show, but regrettably experienced a miscarriage while in the jury house.
The couple made a surprising revelation in a YouTube video that was shared in January 2020. They had actually gotten married in secret almost a year prior. Fast forward to May 2022, and the twosome took to social media to announce some more exciting news. They are expecting their first child together! Bayleigh, who was already eight months pregnant at the time, expressed her disbelief and excitement about becoming a mommy in just a few weeks.

Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans — Season 20
The lifeguard and the fitness model, both from Hilton Head, South Carolina, had an instant connection, but it took a few weeks for their romance to begin. Eventually, they shared a kiss and exchanged "I love yous" towards the end of the season. Tyler revealed his relationship with Angela during his final statements to the jury on the finale, where he ended up in second place. Tyler and Angela started their ocean-inspired jewelry line, Naut & Chain, in 2019. Tyler returned for Big Brother: All-Stars in 2020 and made it to the final six before being evicted. He later expressed regret for not including Angela in the game. The couple got engaged in January 2021.
In December 2022, Us magazine reported that the couple ended their four-year engagement.

Faysal Shafaat and Haleigh Broucher — Season 20
Their showmance got off to a shaky start, with the substitute teacher and college student having some disagreements. At one point, she even rolled away from him on the backyard hammock. During another argument, a frustrated Haleigh questioned Fessy's behavior outside of the game. However, once they were evicted and spent time together in the jury house, their relationship took a turn for the better. Fessy proudly declared it was the real deal on the finale, and Haleigh agreed. They dated for two years before ultimately breaking up in July 2020.

Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson – Season 19
MarriedJess and Cody started their relationship from day one and quickly distanced themselves from the rest of the house. Although Jess was well-liked, Cody had difficulties getting along with others, which ultimately affected both of their games. Surprisingly, Cody managed to win the title of America’s Favorite Houseguest. Following this, they participated as a couple on The Amazing Race season 30. Jess and Cody tied the knot in October 2018 and joyfully welcomed their first daughter, Maverick, in March 2019. Their second child was announced in May 2020, and they were overjoyed to welcome their second daughter, Carter, in October 2020. The birth of their third daughter, Atlas Ruby, occurred in July 2022. Their happiness continues to grow as they recently shared the news in July 2023 that they are expecting their fourth child together.

Matthew Clines and Raven Walton – Season 19
Status: DoneThe pair flew under the radar in the Big Brother house, but were inseparable from the start. After filming wrapped, they continued dating but later split.

Mark Jansen and Elena Davies – Season 19
Status: DoneMark's interest in Elena seemed to far surpass her interest in him while they were in the house together. However, after the show concluded, they decided to pursue a genuine relationship. Unfortunately, they called it quits in February 2019, and Mark publicly confirmed their breakup on his podcast the following month.

James Huling and Natalie Negrotti — Season 18
Status: Done
The duo formed an unexpected showmance in the house during the summer of 2016. Although they continued to date after the show, their relationship ultimately ended shortly after the season concluded. In July 2018, Negrotti publicly identified as pansexual during an episode of The Challenge: Final Reckoning. The Venezuela native revealed that she was in an exclusive relationship with another woman, whom she chose not to name. Later, Huling and Negrotti engaged in a tense exchange regarding her sexuality. When asked about their relationship, Negrotti mentioned in February 2019 that Huling is "not the kind of person that I want to associate with at all."

Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo – Season 18

Despite not being in the same alliance during their time on Big Brother, Nicole and Victor went on to develop a romantic relationship. While on the show, Nicole was involved in a showmance with Corey Brooks. However, after the season ended, Nicole and Victor started dating and took their relationship to the next level. They got engaged in September 2018, making a special appearance during season 20. In January 2021, they excitedly announced Nicole's pregnancy, and in March 2021, they tied the knot. Their journey as a married couple reached a new chapter in July 2021 when they welcomed their first son, Arrow.

Paulie Calafiore and Zakiyah Everette – Season 18
"Zaulie" was a couple that generated a lot of controversy within the Big Brother house. While she observed silently, he verbally attacked other women, and he was even caught making derogatory remarks about her on the live feeds. Despite this tumultuous dynamic, they managed to continue their relationship for a few months after the show ended. However, their romance eventually came to an end.

Frankie and Zach had been flirting all summer, but there was a catch: Zach had never been involved with another guy before. Fast forward four years after their season ended, Zach came out as bisexual and confessed that he and Frankie had hooked up at the Halloween party of Broadway star Ariana Grande, who also happens to be Frankie's sister. In an exclusive interview with Us in December 2020, Zach shared, "I am now out and incredibly open-minded. I have ventured into unexplored territories, literally, and I feel comfortable with my sexuality. It is what it is."

One of the most well-known showmances in reality television is "Brenchel". Despite their stark differences, they formed a connection while competing on Big Brother 12. Their journey continued in season 13, where she emerged as the $500,000 winner. Building upon their successful partnership, they went on to participate in The Amazing Race seasons 20 and 24. Presently, they are happily married and blessed with a daughter named Adora. In May 2020, she revealed the exciting news of her second pregnancy. In September 2020, the couple joyfully announced that they are expecting a baby boy.

Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd – Season 11

Jeff and Jordan are a beloved couple, widely regarded as one of the most adored pairs in the history of Big Brother. Jordan emerged victorious in their season, while Jeff secured the title of America's Favorite Houseguest. Despite Dragoo having a boyfriend, the pair formed a romantic bond during the summer of 2001. Kirby raised eyebrows by deceiving Dragoo about having a rare form of cancer. However, this lie did not hinder their relationship as they continued to date outside of the house for several months. Kirby eventually married Erin Brodie, the winner of For Love or Money, in 2015. They have since welcomed a son named Cash in 2010 and a daughter named Scarlett in 2012. On the other hand, Dragoo is also happily married and has two children.
